Gymboss timers are made to keep your HIIT workouts efficient and effective.They can be set for two intervals (2 seconds to 99 minutes), and rounds or repeats up to 99 times.

Gymboss timers are perfect for Tabata workouts – set the intervals for 20 seconds and 10 seconds for 8 repeats. Run, bike, row, squat, lunge – pick your favorite – and go as hard as you can for the 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds, and repeat 8 times. This is the ultimate HIIT routine. There are many different routines to do Tabata style, and the Gymboss is the perfect timer to get the job done.

Rest is important when weightlifting. Different rest times yield very different results and providing consistent rest allows you to reach goals and watch your progress. Not timing rest can result in workouts that may run much longer than planned.

Use Gymboss to time an exact rest period, such as 60 seconds, or whatever rest time you desire, between every set. Set the rest you desire and the beep and/or vibration of the Gymboss lets you know when your rest is over. Or, set the repeating feature and complete a disciplined workout of 20 sets in 30 minutes with approximately 60 seconds rest between each set, that’s a 30 minute workout every time!

The Gymboss Interval Timer does exactly what it says and does it well. Small and light enough to wear if you wanted to, big enough to program easily and read the numbers. Loud enough to hear and vibrates enough to feel on your waistband. It's the perfect little timer.

Arrived in a timely manner. Package was deliverer securely without damage. Purchased attempting to improve my long distance run time. Great interval trainer. I couldn’t figure how to do the same thing on my Garmin 955 :(. This item is super easy to setup and use. Great vibrations to let you know the interval times.

I needed a timer to so some intervals during workouts. I have an app on my phone, but it wasn't convenient since I like to use that to pump music into my music server. So wanted a standalone timer that was easy to setup and carry around. This Gymboss is pretty easy to set up - in fact easier than the phone app I have. One minor gripe (I have several with the phone app!) is the awkward end of routine timer. You have to press the left-side button twice to stop the alert once the routine is finished. Nice additions are the rubberized finish on the timer and the clip on the back. The fact that it runs on a AAA battery makes it easy to get new batteries as well. All in all a great timer for performing intervals or pretty much any timing need.

Lo uso per allenarmi e posso tranquillamente rimpiazzare l’app sul cellulare. Risparmio batteria sul cellulare, mi alleno alla grande e non dò fastidio a nessuno. Si aggancia bene ai pantaloni o ai vestiti da ginnastica, e questo mi fa percepire bene la vibrazione del cambio di intervallo. Comandi intuitivi, programma semplice da impostare. Lo straconsiglio.

This timer is perfect for my needs. I do a series of orthopedic exercises. For example, I might have to hold a position for 30 seconds, then relax for 10 seconds. And do 5 reps. I can easily set all three of those numbers into the timer, press start, after 30 seconds of holding the position the timer beeps, I relax for 10 seconds and the timer beeps again, then it beeps again to start the next rep, and so on. It beeps repeatedly after the 5th rep to signal that I'm done with the first set. Then I can start the next set with a single push, and go through another series of 5 reps. The only thing I have to count myself is the number of sets. I can watch TV while exercising because this device does all the counting for me, freeing up my mind to pay attention to the TV.Other reviewers have complained about the difficulty of setting this timer. I don't find it difficult. It's a sophisticated timer so I suppose you have to expect at least some complexity in setting it up because it's not just a simple timer. I love it because it makes it so much easier to do my exercises.

I've only had this a couple of weeks but absolutely love this. I've nick named it "The Motivator" I've been walking, jogging and doing push -ups for about 5 years now. I'm 59 years old and am very routine oriented. I've read about interval training and have always wanted to do sprints and walk but have had some concern and hesitation. Although I do not have any knee problems I just didn't know if my body could handle it. Anyway a few weeks ago I decided to try it. So when at the park I had no time keeper but tried to count 15 seconds while sprinting and 1 minute rest and repeated. After this one lap of that I walked a few laps. I felt so good and invigorated. The next two day's when I went back to the park I did my usual 2 lap walk then did 2 laps of sprints and walk and a final lap of walking (3 mile total). This is fantastic but I know I needed a time keeper, so I looked here on Amazon and found this Gymboss Interval timer.This timer comes with very good instructions to teach how to set it up and use. I absolutely love it. In the few weeks I've adjusted my sprint time from 12 to now 15 seconds keeping the one minute rest. I've also increased the amount of sprints I do in total. This timer actually is motivating me. I can't wait to get back to the park to do my exercise. It has helped to revitalize my workout routine. It's giving me goals to attain and makes my workout fun. It is very light in weight yet feels sturdy. It has a very strong clip with good grab. I clasp it onto my shorts and feel confident that it won't fall off. The audible beeping or vibrate modes (or both at the same time) work very well for the interval training. It is also a stopwatch which I use during my walking laps, and a clock. Great price for all the value it has brought to my workout. Wish I would've gotten this years ago. I highly recommend this timer to anyone looking to revitalize their workout or who just wants a sturdy multi-functional timer.
