This is not the best quality set. The volume is very random and never goes all the way off. I will be replacing the volume pots and maybe the whole kit.

Great harness for Epiphone. Drop in, solder pickups and ground cable = doneBoth Jack and switch are branded Epiphone. Compared to my LP from 1999 so is this much nicer pots, switch and jack.

Bought this to replace some roached out pots on an Epiphone LP and everything worked exactly as it should. Had to disasemble one end of the clip to fish it from the selector switch cavity back to the cavity with the pots but other than that it was pretty easy. You do need to be able to solder and you will need to know where your pickup wires are supposed to go but a simple internet search can provide that information. Very satisfied with my results.

The 1/4" jack is branded Epiphone. The pots are quality Korean made. The install was straightforward. However, it wasn't working after installing and I noticed 2 of the "pre-wired" wires had broken off. I attempted to figure out where those wires were previously attached with no luck. I bought pre-wired so I wouldn't have to troubleshoot, so I returned it and was quickly sent a replacement. Second time around was also an easy install, but this time no broken wires and everything works and sounds great. I'd recommend because the price was great and the pots are quality. But be mindful to double check the solder joints before attempting install. Much easier to add more solder when everything is still connected!

I've got to say that it's incredible value for money, but not entirely solderless installation as you have to attach the pick ups. This proved tricky as I'm terrible at soldering and it comes without instructions. There is a wiring diagram on the Amazon order page, but the color coding doesn't match the product. After installation, my scratchy and intermittently dead epiphone dot is now perfect. The entire exercise took me 2 to 3 hours. A small inspection mirror would help you to see the clips hidden inside the guitar. I see that others have described the install as making a ship in a bottle. True. I tied thread round the pots to pull them into place, attaching the furthest first and following logically to avoid tangles. I foolishly removed my strings before starting the exercise (there is no need, the pickups can stay in place). Now I dont know if the brighter sound is down to the electronics or the new strings.

I purchased this because I needed the toggle switch wire with the quick connect plug. I didn't need the pots but decided to use them anyway. When I pulled the old pots out of my epiphone les paul standard I was surprised that this set was nearly an identical match. Maybe they are both manufactured in the same factory. I didn't feel like soldering in the pickups to this set so I ended up pulling them out and purchasing a solderless set due to my laziness. I may use these in another guitar or send them back. I gave it 5 stars because they match the existing set perfectly and I assume they will sound the same as the stock epiphone set. I cant speak to their tone but when I get around to installing them I will update my review. I gave ease of install a 4 because it requires soldering and some may not be equipped to do that themselves.

Good quality and full size pots.I am satisfied with the sound, good soldering and wrapped as a factory item.Use flux on pots in a syringe and fresh flux core solder to fuse all joints.I am impressed and just take your time.✌🏻,

I knocked off a few stars for several reasons. While it works and should be an easy installation in theory, there was a problem with poorly soldered wires to at least one of the pots. The main problem, however, is that the prewired selector switch cord does not fit through the channel cavity because the plastic snap-to the other wire connector is a bit too large. Because of that, the wire had to be cut, which defeats the purpose of having an easy "just snap together" piece in the first place. Second, the wire running from the selector switch to the pickup cavity is way too short to reach. Things had to be cut, rewired, and reconnected to make it work, which it does. They need to re-think this in the future if it is to be truly considered "prewired" and "solderless" and make that wire longer.

I really couldn't tell by the photo on Amazon, but when I received it, I was surprised to see that the pots are full sized.I bought a more expensive wiring harness a few years ago when I built the guitar and it recently malfunctioned.I tried everything and couldn't figure out the problem, so I gave up and bought this one.It was a third of the price I paid for the other one, $65.00 at the time (which now goes for $133.00, thanks Bidenomics) and it worked great as soon as I installed it.I put it in a LP style guitar and installation was very easy.
