Smooth gearing. Limited slop. Finish could use improvements but still acceptable. The knurling on the thumbwheels are great.

Epiphone Les Paul Special-I Electric Guitar Player Pack Worn Cherrythat’s the guitar that i installed these. the screw is slightly off from the original, but i drew s line and marked the holes and drilled them. the rest was super easy.not as good as higher end locking tuners, but dang good for what i needed. i.e., go out of tune a bit quicker but these are easy to tune.

These are very solid and smooth. They are low profile as well, to give you a good string angle. Easy to install, just drop in and put in the screws.

I used these to replace the standard tuners on an Austin Gold Top guitar and they were a perfect replacement! Super easy and painless. They are nice and heavy and feel high quality. String changes are SO much easier and more convenient now. For the price, these are unbeatable!
