The tuners work great, the 16:1 gear ratio is smooth and allows for easy and accurate tuning. I put these on a 2021 LTD M-1 ‘87 Custom and there were some issues. The screws for the tuners were slightly larger than the original screws LTD used, you can either use the original screws or you will have to drill the hole a little larger. The other thing is due to the thickness of the headstock I couldn’t use the nuts and washers that came with the tuners. The tuners themselves were the same dimensions as the LTD tuners but the nuts were shorter. I have boxes of parts due to constantly modding my guitars so I found nuts that worked. None of this was a deal breaker but it’s worth noting because other people might not have excess parts to use or may chip the paint on a finished headstock trying to force the screws in. Again though, great tuners, and I would use them again in other projects.

I wanted to move the uber expensive locking Schallers to another neck so I purchased theses as a no mod replacement and I couldn't be more pleased. Gotoh makes great products, as I own many! The quality vs cost is unbelievable!!!

These are great tuners - well made, nicely finished and with a nice 16:1 gear ratio that allows for precise tuning. The price on these was also very good. Includes all necessary screws, nuts and washers. They aren't locking type but that doesn't matter if you wrap the strings onto the posts properlyThe only slightly negative thing I can say - and this is not any fault of the tuners - is that they're a bit crowded when mounted on a Fender-style peg head. A set of the mini - sized tuners would give a little more finger space between the knobs, but really, these will work just fine and I have no desire or intention to swap them out for the smaller size.

These work very well. They turn smoothly and stay in tune. They are also cheaper than other tuners of similar high quality. There are some cheaper tuners out there, but the quality doesn't even come close. Made in Japan. Highly recommended.

For the price, these can't be beat. I got these to swap out my DIY kit's terrible waste of metal tuners. Stays in tune, and are smooth. I recommend these as the first upgrade to a cheap guitar.

These fit my Telecaster perfectly. They are the second set of Gotoh tuners I have purchased. The first set were for an Acoustic/Electric Takamine that came with low cost tuners. The Gotoh tuners brought that guitar up to professional quality. (It plays and stays in tune).My Tele copy is now a reliable stage and studio guitar, thanks to these Gotoh tuners that maintain tension throughout a performance of session.I recommend Gotoh tuners to anyone who is concerned about keeping their guitar in tune song after song without the annoying interruptions of having to tune up after each one.
