For a replacement on a much used, abused 50+ year old lawsuit era Strat these tuners have been upgraded internally over originals. Should be good for another 50 years.

The product itself is worth every penny, my opinion. BUT, the tuners didn't match the holes in my 2014 FSR Bullet Stratocaster. This isn't the tuners fault though, different models have different layouts/holes. There is a fix, just swap out the baseplates and you're good to go. It worked great for my situation and now holds a tune.

They work MUCH better than tuners that come with cheap guitars! I'll be ordering more for my fun modding cheap guitars and kits.

Bought these to replace the godawful set that came stock on my kramer vt-211s.They look great and work well. No reaming needed. The screw holes don't exactly line up on the back but it's close enough. (1new hole for each)

The tuners themselves seem decent for the price, but be aware that if dropping into a Squier, modification will be necessary. The ferrules don’t fit, so the holes will need to be widened. And the holes for the screws are 1-2mm off on all of them. So new holes are needed. Advertising to be easily used with Stratocasters isn’t great when they aren’t out of the box compatible. At least this is my experience with my 2010 Standard Strat

Sorry about the messy background in the attached pictures, LOL. These tuners are a direct replacement for the cheap, stiff tuners used in the Kramer Focus VT211S Strat copy sold here on this site. They line up very well as long as you use both the Musiclily Tuners and their supplied bushings. The Kramer bushings will work with these, but the fit will be tight and the tuner might bind, defeating the purpose for buying new tuners. With the supplied bushings, these are surprisingly smooth, especially for the price. A good first step toward upgrading what is a surprisingly good little axe for the money.FOLLOW UP: After 3 days, these are still in tune!

These were exact replacements for worn-out tuners (one bent) on an otherwise nice guitar neck I was using to build a partscaster for a friend. They worked quite well, better than some Klusons I've had stock on other instruments. In fact, they worked well enough that a pro musician who borrowed that guitar (which had other "issues") ended up buying it as a cheap backup instrument.

Installed them on a 28-year-old Tele-style; they're obviously not Schallers, but they installed fairly easily and stay in tune, and for the price, they have exceeded expectations. Not locking tuners, so I skipped that question.
