It can be seen in the video the original Ovation tuners on the left and new Grover tuners on the right when installed the bottom key hits the wood on the guitar and cannot tune the guitar. I did submit a question if they would fit before ordering, but was told apparently by A.I. that they fit most guitar styles. A.I. needs to get 5 demerits for not checking with a human before replying.

These tuners are fantastic. They will fit with most guitars and often are used in middle to higher end Epiphone, Gibson, etc. guitars.Very happy with product, just be aware that you may need to drill new holes in the back of your guitar’s head if the screw holes don’t line up with the old holes. Drill the holes first, then screw the tuners in. DO NOT screw the screws in directly into the wood as this may cause the head to split.

I really like the 18:1 ratio. I replaced the factory tuners on a Yairi Alvarez dreadnaught. I was a little disappointed that they are not locking tuners but they make fine tuning much easier than the originals. Installation was a snap.

These are still a great product but just be aware before ordering that you understand the current add is incorrect. These are "Rotomatic -18:1 's" , not Sperzel locking heads.

Tuners are a bit too heavy for the guitar that I was going to put them on ! My fault entirely as I don’t want neck-dive….May have to purchase a heavier guitar, when I can afford it !

Great quality (non-locking) tuners. Perfect fit, no mod necessary. Know what you are ordering, and they fit perfectly.

I have purchased cheaper less expensive tuners before for other guitars I own and this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. When one of the tuners on my 1994 Washburn D10 acoustic broke I was totally bummed. Based on my past experiences buying tuners, I did not think I would be able to find anything that would come close to looking and fitting the same. I was able to see the manufactures name on the old tuners so after a search I found these and they are as close to an exact match as one could hope for. The only real difference, and it is slight, is how the name "Grover" is stamped on the back of the tuner. Other than that they are the same. In fact so much so that I only replaced the one that broke versus changing them all out. That is how much they are the same. They are very well made and not some cheap knock offs either. Light years better than any tuners I have purchased in the past. And the best part is they are a perfect fit so no need drill holes or jury-rig them in some way. Also, the provided screws are slightly and I mean slightly bigger, which I think is great. It gives you the option to use the original screws if they are still tight, but also use the slightly larger screws provided to get a nice tight fit and prevent any rattling since the screws are biting into some new wood. I do not know if that was intentional, but if it was it's a nice touch and much appreciated.Okay yes they are not cheap, but if you cherish your guitar like I do my old Washburn, it is money well spent. If you are looking for some high quality tuners you can not go wrong with Grover. I will buy no others in the future and that is for sure. If a tuner breaks on any of my other guitars I will replace them all with the Grover brand. I cannot recommend these enough.

These tuners have been a great upgrade to my Gibson SG! They seem to keep the guitar in tune much better that the stock ones, although they are noticeably heavier. But they look amazing; they do for my SG what a nice set of rims would do for a sports car!

I bought these tuners on Amazon through B & G Music Associates. They were easy to install. I replaced my stock tuners on a 335-style guitar. These Rotomatics have a good weight, and they definitely hold tuning well, with no little skips-- very smooth.I liked them so much that when I bought another guitar and the g-string went out on stage, I didn't even think and ordered these Rotomatics again. When they arrived, I thought they looked similar to the Grovers I had on the guitar. I contacted B & G, and they were cool about a return. Still, I thought all Grovers aren't equal. I swapped in the Rotos, and they are far better than the stock Grovers I got on the other guitar.I hope that makes sense. They're good tuners. B & G were easy to deal with. If you have Grovers and your G string is going out of tune and you aren't beating up sheep with your guitar or something, you probably don't have these Grovers. Also, you probably shouldn't beat up sheep with guitars. If you're someone who does that.
