Works absolutely great! Was having problems with gunk and bugs and my filter seemed like it was ok. Went ahead and ordered a new one when I found it here and it instantly fixed my problem. We have a Hot Spring Relay spa, and this filter fits and works perfectly. Before I installed it, I carefully compared the dimensions to the filter from the dealer, and could see no difference. I installed it today, and all is good. This is about half the price of the dealer's filter.Edited to add the following editorial:I’d like to suggest that reviewers indicate what kind of spa (both manufacturer and model). It’s pretty clear that it works well for some and not for others.If there was any difference from my dealer filter, I couldn’t see it. In our spa, the filter goes down in the well, then is held in place with a screw-on cap and ring that also encloses the silver ion cartridge. In that configuration, perhaps an imperceptible difference in height wouldn’t matter, since the cap would just cinch down a tad further.There are also different filters used by the same manufacturer. The spa we have uses a very different filter from other Hot Spring models.Let’s be specific with our statements about whether it’s a suitable product, in order to be more helpful to others’ purchase decisions.

Purchased this as a replacement filter for my original OEM filter on my Hot Springs Spa. The filter arrived undamaged in a timely manner and was packaged well. I would have given it 5 stars but the filter IS as some reviewers have said slightly shorter than the one I was replacing. Not as big of a deal for my spa as others have seemed to make it in their reviews, but because the description isn’t exactly accurate I had to dock the rating. I was just careful to hold the filter down tight when securing the cap and it seems to be working fine and for a good savings over the OEM replacements. I would recommend giving this filter replacement a try.
