I've installed these on two Les Paul Customs and am about to do the same on a third. Absolute no brainer, they keep your guitar in tune, make string changes quicker, can't think of a a reason not to buy these.

I had a damaged standard type grover tuner on my everyday beater guitar and have been getting by on a self repaired tuner for many months. Finally, I decided to get a new set of Grover's on it and this ended up being a huge upgrade. It's super easy to tune up now and string replacement is a breeze. After leveling the frets and crowning, it's better than when it was new. Couldn't be happier.

These tuners are a direct replacement for the standard (non locking) Grover set that originally came with my Gretsch 6120TM. That guitar has never stayed in tune and I was looking for a cost effective solution. Installation took about ten minutes and these locking tuners seem to have alleviated my tuning problems with this otherwise great instrument.

I installed these on a Takamine G-Series Acoustic, and they're perfect! I didn't have to redrill any holes or anything because they were a perfect match for the tuners that were installed on the guitar to begin with. They just weren't locking tuners. They dropped right in and work just fine! I would recommend these tuners to anyone looking for some locking tuners, Grover makes an awesome product

So well engineered and flawlessly machined for smooth gear adjusted tuning with locked in slipless strings secured without the age old winding around the pegs technique, Grover's machine heads stay tuned and make string chances a breeze and a clean professional look.

Super meccaniche autobloccanti per chitarra elettrica stile Les Paul. Consegna un po’ lunga ma ne è valsa la pena.

I don't have to write very much about these as all the others have given 5 Stars as well, they are Great I wasn't sure If they would fit on my Martin D45 but they fit like a glove, so as you see by my review and all the others they are the ones to get, Grover 502 G Gold.

It use to be the only option for locking tuners was either Sperzel or Schaller, which are great locking tuners. The downside to those was that one had to drill new holes into their guitar to install them, and then you'd have the hole left from the original tuners. I'm so glad that Grover has a locking tuner that's a direct fit with no heavy modification. I have a set of these on 2 Les Pauls, and they work just as well as the Sperzel tuners I've had on other guitars in the past. Very smooth operation, and the locks work the same as the other guys. Plus, they look just like the tuners their replacing with just a little extra knob that's barely noticeable. The lock knob is lower profile than the aforementioned lockers. Overall weight is about the same as a standard set of Grover 102's (the non-lockers that come stock on most Epiphone guitars).Being a bass player who plays rhythm guitar on the side, I hated changing strings on guitars (guitar strings are so tiny). Locking tuners make everything so much easier. No winding, no messing around with anything. Plus they help stay in tune better than the standard tuners. I know guitarists who use these for the quick string change factor. When they break a string on stage, they just throw a new one on in less than a minute.

This is the 4th set of locking tuners I've installed on some of my guitar collection and the 2nd set of Locking Grover's. I truly believe in them regardless of the type of guitar you own. We all know the benefits of having them on guitars with standard tremolos (not Floyd Rose types that already have a locking nut). These came on my 86 Fender Strat Plus and I put them on my VG Strat as soon as I bought it. I've installed these Grover's on my Les Paul Custom & my new Nighthawk Custom Reissue and they have provided better tuning stability as well as making string changes a breeze. I just ordered another set for my Ibanez SAS32EXFM (with tremolo) and can't wait to install them! These Grover's are a snap to install and super simple to change strings with. I'm trying to get the other guitarist in my band to put them on his LP & Strat as he's always re-tuning between songs while I rarely need to do it but between sets!!! Small price to pay for what I feel is a great improvement in maintaining tuning as well as quick & easy string changes. I'll probably install them on every guitar I ever buy from now on. For those of you that don't think you need these on guitars without tremolo's, I used to think that as well till I put them on my non trem axes and found out they do help, along with a properly set up neck they are a good addition & an easy tweak.
