These are similar to parting tools that I can get locally, but I don't get to write a review on those.The 10 pack arrived in solid shape, well-packaged.Just like any parting tool, 9 out of 10 times it's the operator error, which is why they come in packs of 10. ;)Pay attention to your set ups, speeds, feeds, and material, and these will work for you.I used them on A36 2" round 10/18 hex by 1 3/4 after turning the hex down to not have intermittant cuts in the parting area. They seem to be on par with Kennametal, with less chattering than expected.

It has more flex than toolsets that I have used in the past. This forced slower cutting pressure to be used. Decent for home use.

If you have a tool holder large enough this is a good value. It measures just over an inch tall at 26mm. Many tool holders on smaller lathes, or even larger lathes, only hold 1/2 or 3/4" tools.If you have the capability to hold this tool it seems like a great deal for the price, especially considering that it comes with 12 bits.

I got this to use as a parting tool for my small lathe. It took me a bit to get this mounted in the tool holder, as the blade is quite tall in relation to the tool holder. I made a new block to go onto the tool holder, and now it's mounted securely and works well. I love that it came with 12 inserts! These should last me quite a while, as I don't do a ton on the lathe that needs a parting tool. Overall, excellent value for the price!
