The GrooveWasher cleaning fluid is excellent. For most cases it is all you need, but it's important to use it correctly. Here's what I've found works well:1. Start by laying the record flat, preferably on the GrooveWasher 'Splash' Record Cleaning Mat, or directly on your turn table.2. Place the label protector over the label.3. Generously spray the record with the cleaner; the small bottle that comes with this kit won't last long, so plan to purchase one of the 32 fl oz GrooveWasher G2 Record Cleaning Fluid Refills.4. Wait! Give the liquid a couple of minutes to soak down into the record's grooves. This is key, and without waiting you're not going to get the deep clean that you were hoping for.5. After waiting for a couple of minutes the liquid will have dispersed, making the record look all glassy; see the photo attached to this review. The liquid has a viscosity lower than water, so coverage should be 100%.5. Using the short end of the cleaning sponge gently wipe back and forth over the record surface, working in thirds. Rotate the record as you go.6. Once you've mopped up most of the fluid, turn the sponge 90 degrees and use the long side to wipe around the record a couple of times.7. Don't stop! Go back and repeat steps 3 to 6.8. Your record is now clean, and ready to play. If upon playing the record it doesn't sound great, use the sponge to wipe around the record again; you likely don't need to use any more spray.9. If the record continues to sound bad, just go back and repeat steps 3 to 6.These steps have worked great for me with records that have not been played for over 30 years. Good luck. This product comes highly recommended.

I'm a budding Audiophile on a budget who can't rationalize spending more on a record cleaning machine than I did for my turntable and cartridge. While watching videos on YouTube, I was intrigued by the GooveWasher SC1 Stylus Care Brush and 1/2oz. fluid in a dropper bottle ($19.99). So off to Amazon I go to purchase this stylus brush and I came across the GroveWasher Record and Stylus Care System for $24.99 that included a Super absorbent microfiber cleaning pad, G2 record cleaning fluid (4 oz.), label protector disc in addition to the stylus cleaner, so I bought the whole kit. Great deal! While I'm sure it won't beat a $700.00 plus Record Doctor, it will make a vast improvement on your older records that were reasonably well taken care of.

Brush & pad great for quick dust removal from lp & stylus. Brush handle is considerably longer than most stylus brushes making it much easier to use. Pad is great for removing small amount of residual dust after using a carbon bristle anti-static, record groove Brush. A+++.

I had heard of GrooveWasher products before, especially the brush that resembles the old DiscWasher.I wanted to believe all of the positive reviews about the G2 solution but hesitated.I had tried many do it your self methods to clean my "dirty" vinyl with limited success. I even tried the paint edgers. I tried Boundless solution and think it only got my records wet.I use a carbon fiber anti-static and an old RCA Discwasher clone which is fine for not so "dirty" vinyl.I had a "new" FM soundtrack 2 LP from 2014-still sealed when bought a couple years ago. For a record that had never been played before, it had tremendous surface noise. I tried over and over to fix it but failed.Another problematic disc was the Alan Parsons Project "I Robot" Legacy 2 LP--the first disc was very poppy and crackle-ly. I also tried everything to save this record.Nothing helped UNTIL... I got the GrooveWasher kit with G2 solution and pad with stylus brush and cleeaner. It took a couple of cleanings and letting the G2 soak on LPs, but I noticed a remarkable improvement! On both albums! If you are skeptible get the $24 kit with the label protecter, G2, stylus brush and cleaner, and cleaning PAD.That's what I did and I am ready to try a deluxe kit from Groovewasher.

I recently invested in the GrooveWasher record cleaning kit, and I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the instructions provided were crystal clear and incredibly easy to follow, making the entire cleaning process a breeze.I initially tested the kit on a new record that had gathered some dust, and the results were outstanding. The vinyl emerged from the cleaning process looking not just clean, but absolutely pristine and gleaming! The difference was remarkable. What truly sets this kit apart is the high quality of its components. I opted for the bundle that included the large circular cleaning cloth, and I can attest to its top-notch quality. It’s durable and effective, leaving no residue behind. Now, onto the stylus cleaning brush – a game-changer. Having tried a couple of others before, I can confidently say that GrooveWasher’s brush surpasses them all. It’s impeccably crafted, of premium quality, and effortlessly easy to use.If there’s one thing I wish GrooveWasher offered, it’s a carbon fiber record brush – if they made one, I’d be first in line to purchase it!In summary, my experience with the GrooveWasher record cleaning kit has been nothing short of exceptional. From the clarity of the instructions to the outstanding performance of the products, I am overly satisfied with my purchase. GrooveWasher has definitely earned a loyal customer in me, and I’ll be returning for all my future record cleaning needs. Highly recommended!

GrooveWasher Record & Stylus Care SystemSuper simple vinyl cleaner. This is a really easy quick cleaner. 2 to 3 sprays. And wipe in circle around the disc groove. If you need a really quick clean without the hassle of a larger cleaner system , this is a great solution.I like to do a quick clean with my used vinyls before I play them. When I don't have the patience to do all the cleaner setup and wash , this works great.Took forever to get here though. Not sure why this isn't regularly stocked by amazon.ca :)
