Work great. Bought for climbing couloirs in soft snowboard boots while backcountry splitboarding. Just had to buy long flex bars separately to make these fit my size 13 K2 Maysis boots. The flex bars that came with these were one notch short unfortunately, but this means they should work for most snowboard boots smaller than 13. I really liked that the webbing straps had plenty of tail to grab and pull tight compared to another brand I tried and returned.
