These traction grips are pretty easy to use. Just stretch them out over the front and back of your shoes and pull over the edges. I've had other sets made like these before. Eventually, the rubber gives out and they snap but they're usually good for several seasons. The spikes on these are longer than others I've had, which is good for softer ice and surfaces that have some texture to them. They have not worked well on black ice (none work really well on black ice) where they just slip out. I wish they had put more spikes on the heel. They are inexpensive compared to other sets I've seen in stores.

These easily stretch over both shoes and boots. No ripping or tearing of the rubber material so far and the spikes provide decent grip for the price. Can’t wait to see how well they hold up during ice season

I'm keeping two pairs of these inexpensive crampons in my car, in the event I need something quick and easy for my boots or sneakers... yes sneakers. If you're out all day and it becomes snowy or icy, taking a minute to put these on your shoes is a really good idea. They're clearly not heavy duty, so if you're going to wear them often or for long periods of time, I'd suggest getting a better set.
