This was a little difficult to figure out how to use if you can believe it. It was difficult to figure out which part sticks to the screen. I applied it to a small 1 inch hole in my screen. It sticks well and there are no issues with that at all. It’s still holding strong after several months and seems very durable. I think it’s great for a temporary repair. The only downside is that it does stick out like a sore thumb. Definitely useful until a proper replacement can be done.

I've had a rip in one of the window screens, so just avoided opening that window. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this repair kit and tested it out.I cleaned the screen and then cut around the rip to get a clean rectangular hold, The repair tape sticks to the surrounding screen mesh well and it's barely noticeable now. Plus, I can open the window again, without the flies getting in.

This is simple-to-use repair tape that fixes holes in mesh screens without needing to replace the entire screen. I had a pet that tore small holes in my window screens and this tape worked fantastically to repair the hole; it even held up well after a light storm. The tape is easy to use by cutting a piece a little larger then needed to cover the area to be repaired. The glue on the repair mesh is tacky enough to stick to the existing screen without needing to add any glue. The repair location ends up a little darker but it is hardly noticeable. If you want to make the repair completely invisible, the tape can be lined up to match the existing screen pattern.

Had a small knick in one of our screens so got this to help seal for bugs. Overall, it works to seal and mend minor screen damage. I also like that this is tape you can cut to whatever size, unlike many that are predetermined sizes. You will most still be able to see the tape, it will not be a perfect blending match in most cases. It's also good to note that this tape color is BLACK—not all screens are fully black—some are a bit gray/black or charcoal colored. So be mindful to check your screen color before purchasing.

I thought this would blend in a lot more than it does. Its great to have this option so I dont have to use ugly duck tape or that I dont need to replace the whole screen but with this tape it is still obvious that there was a patch job and it does look pretty ugly, but its ok in places that arent so obvious so we dont have to see it.

I love that I can custom cut the length of screen repair tape that I need.The Outside of the roll is the backing. The backing is a pretty thick plastic. So thick that I had a hard time to remove it. Every time I'd peel it away from the sticky part, the backing would snap back and get stuck. I found that as soon as I peel it away, I'd mash it if possible to deform it so it wouldn't stick back.The adhesive is sticky enough that even small lengths are secure on my damaged screen but not sticky enough that it sticks to my fingers and ruins the adhesive.I would get this again.
