It didn’t come with instructions so I didn’t have such a great experience Making this work. I clean the screen, cut off the excess torn stuff and then cut a piece of A little bigger than the tear it wasn’t Sticking so I used the heat from my hairdryer to see if it would improve, but he did not. I don’t know, but I think the glue maybe to dry To actually stick.

There does seem to be a lot of confusion about this product. I can understand that the lack of directions can be a little frustrating. It might be helpful to recognize what this is and what it is not. It is essentially just tape. The tape has a layer of screen-type material adhered to it which I suppose is designed to make it look a bit less like tape when it's on your screen. It is still absolutely noticeable when attached to the screen, but I agree with other reviewers that it's a nice quick fix for smaller holes. It is NOT metal screen material that magically sticks to your screen. The key to getting the tape to stick to the screen is to very carefully peel off the backing making sure not to remove the screen veneer from the sticky part by mistake. If you peel off the screen veneer by mistake and then try to apply only that to your screen it will not stick as the screen part by itself is not inherently sticky. When it's applied correctly, it does stay in place (it's been a few weeks now), but it naturally has all of the cons of tape: 1) outside things (dirt, bugs, etc) will stick to the sticky side, and 2) despite the veneer screen layer which is really just for show, it does not have little holes in it so no air passes through the "patched" part of your screen.I would seriously consider duct tape instead especially since I would cut sizes to match the screen holes and take off my screen so I could put one piece on one side of the screen and one matching piece on the other side of the screen so they are taped together. This would eliminate the problem of outside dirt, etc. sticking to the tape and make the fix last a lot longer (you could also try this technique with this screen/tape). Duct tape would also eliminate the need to carefully peel of the backing which is tedious for sure. But, I can see that duct tape would be very marginally less "attractive" on the screen compared to this product.Bottom line: if the look of it matters to you and you don't want dirt, etc. sticking to it, consider it only as a stop-gap until you can fix the screen. If it's a short time before you replace or fix your screen, just grab the duct tape instead. If you are unable/unwilling to get that screen fixed or replaced for quite some time, consider this product, but slow way down when you're painstakingly peeling off the backing. And, be prepared to use more of this product periodically as the original patches get dirty and/or lose their stick.

Easy to use. Just cut the size you need, remove a small amount of the backing, and stick it to the screen while peeling the remainder of the backing.

No instructions enclosed with product, so had to come back to Amazon listing to make sure I understood how to apply. Seemed simple to apply, but patch didn’t last 1 hour before product started to peal away from screen. It surely does not work as documented.Another problem is the paper backing covering the adhesive is difficult to remove - adhesive sticks to the paper backing and pulls away from the wire screen, so you have to be extra careful when removing the paper backing.
