Designed for electrical experts, this hole-making kit features a new die design optimized for the widest range of materials to punch precise holes in up to 10-gauge mild steel, 12-gauge stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, and plastics for 1/2" to 2" conduit size knockouts. Made to meet the needs of busy electricians on the jobsite, the compact and lightweight design offers convenient portability and quick and easy one-person operation, and the knurled edge on the punches provides a better grip. It eliminates cross-threading by drawing studs with the dog point tip, and the hex key access allows for stud easy removal from the tool. For easy maneuverability in tight work spaces, the right angle hydraulic punch driver head rotates over 180 degrees. We purchased two Greenlee 7906SB Quick Draw 90 Hydraulic Punch Driver and Kit with Conduit Sized Punches for one of our projects. One worked fantastically but unfortunately the second one kept malfunctioning. The return process was easy and without questions. I would have given a four star but unfortunately we needed the second one and I was hesitant to buy another.

I bought this product back on February 17th 2018. we have only used it a little bit and the pump pushed out of the head, there is only a small setscrew holding the two pieces together. I contacted the manufacturer and after providing proof of purchase and a picture of the unit they told me that it would not be warrantied. below is their reply."I talk to the repair guy who fixed that tool.From the picture he was saying you put too much pressure on the tool while punching.Or you punch a material more than 10 gauge that cause that problem.It is a user's fault,so we cannot warranty it.Thanks,S**** ****mTechnical Support Representative"During my conversation with tech support I explained that I have only used the tool as specified and this is the kind of warranty and customer support that Greenlee gave to me.Attached is a picture of the failed pump, you can see the drill set that the setscrew was seated into and it just slid down the male portion as the operator was pumping.NO I won't be buying their product again.

These are great for an electrical contractor. You might be better off with another, cheaper brand for non-industrial/commercial work.

The 90 degree head makes it one of the most user friendly knock out kits around. No separate pump, cylinder, and leaking hoses, small storage box. Just be sure to use the included spacer when doing the 1/2 inch punch. It is hard to recover from that mistake.

these are not cheap and they do as they say it will. the paint or powder coat isnt the best.the cutters dont seem to stay sharp for long. but it is most likely the best you will find out there.

I purchased this tool cause i need a quality product. Greenlee is hand in hand with quality. Never had a problem with ones in the passed. Unfortunately everything wears out-then you just buy another one! Great product!!
