UPDATE: Changed my review from 2 to 1 stars. I ordered a new player to replace the one which has stopped working. Figured it was a bad batch. New player does not work, can not find the beginning of any CDs. Spins until it displays an error message. Same CDs work in the older player until it gets stuck in the middle. Apparently my first player was a lucky batch. Good luck!I’ve had this player for about six months, and it worked great for most of that time, but recently it will get stuck in the middle of tracks. Oddly, gently shaking and tipping the player around are the only way to get it unstuck (even setting it upside down works sometimes), but it happens enough now that it’s more of an exercise device than a music player. Also be aware that this player is really only practical if you get a power cord because it goes through batteries very quickly (2 AA batteries give you about 8 hours of listening time).

I bought this as a gift for my bf and it was really cute, looks just like the picture. Decent audio quality and perfect to go along with some burnt cds.

Works very well. The sound is spectacular. A very good deal.

I will keep the first one sent, and will pay for it. I was very distraught at the time, because of my 14 year old niece who died from brain 🧠 cancer. So my mind was not clear. I haven't used a portable CD player in over 20 years but I recently purchased a car that didn't have a CD player and I have plenty of CDs I want to listen to too. So I went old school and purchased this to listen to them. Super happy with this purchase.

The sound is great. I'm an older lady, and I always forget something. It's nice to know that I don't have to stop listening to go get what I forgot. Now, what was it that I forgot? Just kidding 😃. Great product. The Bluetooth connection is good. Haven't had any problems with it skipping. So easy to use, and the size is perfect. I can hook it to my belt loop or drop it in my hobo bag.(purse) It looks good however you choose to use it. I love it .Thank you 👍

Update: my sister dropped this twice. The first drop the spring for the lid to open on its own, popped out - but no biggie - everything still worked fine. It fell off a work table when someone moved her stuff out of the way not realizing they were pushing her player too. The 2nd time it fell, the little hook of the latch on the door broke off. I tried to fix it, being it wasn't covered in the warranty, but because of the type of plastic it is it wouldn't adhere back together. Either that or there were minute pieces missing. I started looking for another one - but this seems to be the only brand, that has anti-skip, drop, and other great features for a person who seems to be hard on her electronics. However the price jumped up tremendously since we had last bought it. Plus one of the battery springs had corroded & we're not sure why that happened. Really puzzling there being the batteries weren't corroded or any other parts.Recently (March 2023),i was looking at them again and saw that the price had been reduced - most likely because the company has a newer model now. But then I saw that Amazon warehouse was selling or rather reselling this at a lower price, "claiming" that the product was like new - in working condition. That the packaging may be open. So being I have had good results previously with products being remanufactured or fixed/repaired for reselling I took the chance... However, I cannot recommend Amazon's employees for thoroughly checking a product to see if it actually works as it should.The product turns on, the CD mechanism appears to work - but we couldn't find my sister's cds at the time to see if it actually plays. The radio switch worked - However... & this is a BIG however, it wouldn't tune to other stations. It was literally stuck on one station.I ended up removing the radio board from the newer unit & replacing it with the one my sister had in hers. Due to my experience with building & fixing computers, I was able to finally give her a working product. At least until we find her little case of CDs.Shame on Amazon's employees for not thoroughly checking this player. I feel they owe me a refund, or owe me for actually fixing what they should have! Or as my parents said - hire me to thoroughly check & fix these little personal CD & FM radio players! 😂My sister was looking for a cd player that she could use at home with her headphones. She has a boom box that has one but the outlet does not work on it and she does not have much space on her desk. This was the perfect answer. She loves it as it works well and plays all her Discs with music. The only reason there are 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the batteries don't last very long, and it's not like she uses it hours on end. So she constantly needs batteries. If they could make it use less energy that would give 5 stars. The price was affordable for myself, and I am hoping that isn't the reason for battery consumption.
