Well made and easy to use. Sound is pretty decent, and loud enough to fill kitchen and adjoining rooms. Probably not a good fit if you’re looking for sound to fill a large area.

I love that this is portable, rechargeable and has an external speaker. The charge lasts a good amount of time even when not in use. Also, it stays where you left off even when it's been shut off for awhile. This is really helpful for study. Totally what I was looking for!

If this product was released in the '90's, I would've given 10/5 stars because I always hated when the batteries on it died. It's absolutely NOT the case with this portable CD player. Not only is it rechargeable, you can use it while it's charging. The CD player lasts a long time in between charges. I noticed that when you listen to a CD through the end, the CD player will shut off by itself, even if you leave the switch to the "On" position, it will not drain the battery. However, if you "Pause" a track, the CD player will stay on and won't shut off by itself. When I first held this CD player, I was impressed with how sturdy it felt. Since it's mostly plastic, I thought that it would be feel light and cheap. One of my favorite features is the speaker. I have it on my desk and will play music through the speaker. I was impressed that you can use the equalizer to adjust the sound even when using the speaker. The speaker is fairly loud. If you use your own headphones, the sound is really good.If you don't want to keep switching out CD's, you can download music to a micro SD card, and this player will be able to play it because it has a micro SD slot. I've loaded MP3 and WMA formats to a micro SD card and they both play fine. Since the display is LCD, you can't jump in between folders, like on your phone or an MP3 player.Since we're no longer in the '90's and most devices have Bluetooth, this one doesn't support it, which is why I knocked off a star. There would be times when I would like to use a Bluetooth headset, but I can't with this device. The lack of Bluetooth technology, though, isn't a show stopper for me.

useless product. Does not work 90% of the times, If anything it has ended up spoiling my wonderful collection of CDs. Does this rotten product have a service centre in india, preferably in the Delhi NCR area?

It is shocking to me that this product has generally positive reviews. This is my experience with this CD player.I have purchased this CD player 3 times. Yes, 3.1st purchase - When I first got it, it worked great. I loved it. After a few weeks, it started to glitch. Sometimes it wouldn't play certain CDs at all. Always, it would take several minutes to start working after being turned on. Eventually, I accidentally dropped it and it completely shattered. My fault, but clearly lacking durability for something that's going to be carried around. I assumed - because of the good reviews - that the glitches were an anomaly and I vowed to be more careful so I decided to buy it again.2nd purchase - Worked fine, no glitches. I was happy with it. I used it primarily in my car. I kept it on the seat next to me while driving. Well, I stopped a little short one day and it slid from the seat to the floor. Welp. The release that opens the CD player got damaged and the entire thing became unusable. Again, I didn't drop it out of a window. Just a 1 foot drop onto the car floor and this thing was toast. Somehow, I convinced myself to buy it again, vowing this time I would be extremely careful. That's how much I wanted a portable CD player with speakers.3rd purchase - No, I didn't drop it at all, basically treating it like it was made of eggshells. Somehow, after about a week, it just stopped working. Any CD I put in it, it would not play, giving some error message instead.I have to believe that either I have been extraordinarily unlucky with the product, or the positive reviews are all from people who used it once or twice before things started to go wrong. This thing is a lemon.

This works amazing!! Great sound with the player alone! Easy set up for the car and sounds even better! Doesn’t skip when moved around. This is a good option for gift!

Just fills the bill for me. Easy to use, doesn't require using earphones, decent speaker. Seems to keep a charge for a reasonable length of time. I don't use it in a car so can't address that functionality.

Works well for the price. Lots of features you would not get at this price Fairly easy to use and the speaker sound is above average for the size of the speakers. The headphones could be a bit better. Only thing does not have blue tooth, but for the price I can live with it. Been very happy with the product so far.

If you are looking for a simple and easy to use personal CD player that doesn't require to be hooked up to a speaker, you found it. This has a belt-in speaker and best part is it is chargeable. No need to have a supply of batteries ready to use for your CD player. You can still "play" while you are charging if you run out of battery life while in the middle of a good book on CD. But I have to say, the battery life is amazing, and I almost go through a whole book before I run out of battery charge. We picked up this cd player so we can play our books on CD while on a road trip...since car standards don't include a CD player. It has a port for the Audio Aux Cable which plugs right into your car and now you have sound throughout your car as I love doing in my car. However, my husbands car is a newer model and doesn't have the Audio Aux Cable port, instead it uses only bluetooth devices. The only downside to this CD player, it doesn't have bluetooth capability. The speakers have a good range of volume, however in a car with the road noise, it's not loud enough if you are listening to a book on CD that has various voice volumes. The other use I have for my CD Player is while I'm gardening or working outside. I love that it travels and that I can take it with me anywhere and I don't have to use headphones to listen.Overall for my needs, it's great and the price is very reasonable.
