I have really bad circulation and running in cold weather will usually turn my fingertips white and useless. I wore these mitts in a half marathon in Chicago in the middle of winter with a subzero windchill, and my hands were fine. In fact, I had started the race with some merino wool liners on under them but my hands got too warm. I consider these my sub 15 degree mitts -- they're too warm for air temps above that if you're running.There are some downsides to that warmth, though. They're not heavy, but you won't forget you're wearing them. You also shouldn't expect to have any dexterity with your fingers while wearing them. And, they're too big/stiff to stuff in your pockets if you end up not needing them. All that said, I would highly recommend these if you're doing any kind of cold weather running or other activity.

Warm and comfy but closures difficult to operate once you have one mitt on. No biggie because not strictly necessary to tighten them up to wear, but would still be nice if the pulls were larger/ easier to grab.Also on my previous pair, the exterior thumb areas turned an unappealing chalky white from repeated exposure to the elements. But for the original price of $35 I’m not complaining (too much.) Dunno if I would order again at the current $45.

A terrific winter mitten for the coldest of temperatures! I bought these for someone with a circulatory problem that is intensified in cold temperatures (Raynaud's syndrome). He says they are the best gloves he has found and are very warm and comfortable. I bought both sizes medium and a large and found there is very little difference in size. He kept both! I bought an additional pair in women's sizes for my daughter and she is equally pleased. I'll stick with Gordini for gloves and mittens from now on.

Bought some Gordini's a few years ago so I decided yo try them again. It is currently 18° outside and they do an okay job of keeping my hands warm. My thumbs are still cold. I suppose if I was active and not standing still waiting for a bus... I would recommend these for light to moderate activities outside in 30° + weather.

My old lighter weight Gordini mitts had elastic loops so I could pull the mitten off and the mitten would hang loose while I used my bare hands. These don't. This cuff is longer and stays over my coat sleeve better. We have lots of old mittens from years of family downhill skiing and these seem like they will be really warm and durable. So far I walked the dog for 1/2 hour at 25F no wind and they were toasty. I took one mitt off to get a candy bar out of my pocket and stuffed the mitten in my pocket. No elastic loop. Candy bar done my cold hand discovered no mitten in my pocket. I found the mitten. I miss the elastic loops.

I didn't think anything would keep my wife's hands warm but these did. She said they were a winner. I wanted warm hands too so I got a pair for me! Just got them too late for a test drive. I cant say that I am looking forward to the next zero degree day to try them out but winter will come. Based on my wife's experience my hands are going to be a whole lot warmer when things do cool off again. The price was very reasonable for a down, Goretex glove. The sky seems to be the limit for the price of high performance ski gloves. These were affordable.

These gloves feel very soft inside. They are really warm if you stay very active, like sledding or shoveling. When I'm downhill skiing and there is wind and less physical exertion, the gloves are not as warm as I had hoped, even if I add a fleece liner. I'm a woman with longer hands (normally a women's large) wearing men's medium gloves because they're cheaper than the women's gloves. But, I think the women's would have fit a little better (the men's gloves are wider). The gloves are made well and shipped quickly. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and I don't know if there are any gloves I've ever encountered that would be warmer. I'd buy them again and would recommend them.
