The litter box has the narrowest base I have ever seen. Pay attention to measurements. This will not work for a normal size house cat

I liked the aesthetics of this litter box, but I had to discontinue using it because of leakage issues with the internal tray. My big male cat isn’t the best about squatting when he pees. The urine was running down the side wall and pooling underneath the internal tray - not great for smells. I also noticed that the urine was starting to escape out of the seam of the dome and stained a wall and I was worried about leaks damaging my floor underneath. Luckily I discovered this flaw pretty quickly. I was bummed this didn’t work for my cat since I am limited on litter box space in my home.

I purchased this item a couple months ago for my larger cats but when it got here it looked and it seems quite small (at least for my cats). On the other hand though my chihuahua loves to hide and hangout in it with his favourite blanket (no cat litter in it) 😂😂
