These frames are handsome and expensive-looking. I have been looking for good-looking, well-priced frames for my diplomas for several years. I was not disappointed. These fill the bill in every way. My black frames definitely look like painted wood, and I love the double matting. The price is a bargain.

These frames exceeded my expectations. The dark navy blue matting paired with hints of gold and red make my degrees pop. They are professional in appearance and suggest a status of prestige. A fantastic purchase and I highly recommend them. The pricing is also reasonable.

I've never really been a fan of those very, very elaborate diploma frames, large enough for a big velvet border, a medallion, the university's name in gold. There's something about letting the diploma speak for itself.This frame is way, way on the other end though. The window is glass, not plastic, but the frame itself is plastic, and it looks like plastic even from a few feet away. There's a small gap in the corners that just tells the eye 'hey I'm not wooden'.That's no big deal to me. The gold detail in the frame matched the gold seal on my diploma, and the black of course matched the text. This is a simple, cheap frame that will protect your diploma, either until you invest in a really expensive one, or forever if you don't mind. For me, the diploma itself looks great, the frame looks kinda humble, and my frame is well protected.This is fitting my 11x14 diploma without the border. You get a pretty nice looking border for bachelor sized degrees. One advantage to this line is that they make a smaller frame for high school diplomas if you want a matching set.

Oh, YES I DID!! - I have sacrificed and have finally paid off this loan, 22 years early. I won't entertain the thought of whether this was right or wrong financially, it was and is right for me and I am proud and relieved. I decided to frame these documents in the entryway of MY home. These frames are really beautiful. I originally printed and framed these documents with common copy paper. While I was awaiting for the third frame to arrive, it occurred to me that these documents were worthy of a premium quality paper. So, I reprinted and remounted them with 65lb parchment paper. It is SO worth it and makes a huge difference. I say this to let you know that these clips in the back are pretty durable being they were pried with a butter knife 4 or 5 times without any of them breaking. I did tape the document corners to the back of the mat before putting on the frame backing. You may have to do this a few times to center it correctly.Yes, I really did give this letter to the bank. Take note that I deliberately took the F OFF of every word in this goodbye letter to Wells _argo. I did wear my dark glasses to the bank when I gave them this letter with my payment, but that part of my "fun" did not make an impact as I live in the "sunshine state" anyway.....nor did my in-branch bill-paying T-shirt that says "Go ahead, call the cops." Thankfully, in hindsight, I did not get shot at! We all laughed anyway and it is something I will never forget.Please measure your document before purchasing! THE VIEWABLE SPACE OF THE MAT IS 7.5" x 9.5". I used 8.5 x 11" paper and taped the document edges to the frame backing after centering it.
