I love this frame and have purchased 12 of them several years ago. Had to buy a new one since my handyman accidentally broke the glass. I framed antique maps in the 12 frames and hung them up gallery-style in my dining room. The 11x14 is perfect size for the maps and the thin black frame allows the maps to take center stage. This frame was packaged well so as not to break the glass and as always, arrived on the timeline I requested.

$20 for a 6pk of these is an absolute steal, they were shipped with foam and frames look very professional. You really dont need a matte for most photos.

One of the pieces of glass broke during shipment. So that’s the only reason for a 4 star review. Cause even with 11 frames at the price I got them for it is still a good deal. Super easy to change pictures out. Look nice and clean.

I used these frames for a DIY craft project and they are perfect for my application. These 4"x4" black frames make the perfect frames for doing a miniature album art project. These are super easy to disassemble and reassemble. They can be reused multiple times. The black plastic appears to be good quality and sturdy. The glass is . . . well, glass (not clear plastic). The glass will hold up better over time and not get cloudy.I am about to order one more box of these (I miscounted the number I needed), and I am looking forward to getting this project mounted onto a backer board and hung in my music room.I highly recommend these.

Arrived very well packaged and easy to insert your prints (I did a dozen in half an hour but just the handle glass over a soft surface as I did accidentally drop and break one). The finished product looks very smart!

Wanting to print to the full 13x19-inch media size that my Epson printer supports, I likewise wanted a frame suitable for mounting the print without need for a mat, so as to keep the framing task simple. Not only that, but while I've customarily matted my prints, I wanted a simpler look that puts all attention on the print itself. These frames, while a bit cheap-looking with their all plastic construction, fit my needs very well and at a relatively low cost.To protect the prints since there is no mat to provide some air space, I spray them with with Moab Desert Varnish after allowing 24 hours for the ink to fully set. The front-loading design of the frame is a little fussy to deal with and you must be careful in handling the glass, but it is supremely convenient. I've purchased 2 dozen of these frames and have only seen one with a very small scalloped chip out of the edge of the glass that is hardly noticeable...all have been well-packaged to minimize damage. The glass itself is about 1/16-inch thick...I've not broken a pane yet, and most folks should be able to avoid that, again with reasonably careful handling. The weight of the 13x19-inch frame with glass is about 30 ounces and it is intended to be hung on a wall, as there is no snap-out support for table use as with the smaller frames. Hanging is via a small keyhole, suitable for just slipping over over a nail head. While not necessary, I like to stabilize them with a small ball of putty at the back of each corner or a silicon rubber bumper. As shown by the accompanying photo, one can make a very neatly organized group of photos using these frames.

I maintain a rotating group of 18 small images (4 x 6; 5 x 7 formats) in my study, ranging from early industrial photos to WW2 military aircraft to family members to various printed exotica. When I started mounting works some 20 years, ago, these black, front-mounting frames were perfect. They do not distract from what is being displayed in any way.Finding some Hokusai prints from his Fuji series, I decided to expand my image wall. But front-mount frames like my existing ones have recently become more difficult to find. Yet these MCS frames match my own in every detail.Fancy? Nope. But exactly what I was looking for, with quality actually higher than I was prepared for.

First one arrived damaged. Second one was fine and looks great on my wall.It feels pretty cheap and fragile, so I doubt it would last if you changed out the picture too many times (you have to bend the frame to load the picture in) or through numerous moves.I used it to frame an old concert poster. Works great for a clean/minimalist look.
