Replaced an old one with a new one. We have pretty hard water and sooner or later it's just easier to replace than to maintain. This one seems to work particularly well, better than the one it replaced.

Fit perfectly. Couldn't find this type in the local home improvement stores for some reason.

this was a nice finish, easy to install and works well. I saw other reviews that said they had trouble. Not my experience. Worked and installed flawlessly!

I've never worked on ANY kind of plumbing before. This was super easy to install. Although no instructions came with it, a quick youtube video showed me how to remove the old one and install this one. You literally just shove it into the copper pipe and tighten the hex screw on the bottom and you're done. (Remember to caulk around the rim to seal it.) I bought it because my old tub faucet screamed blood murder every time I pulled up on the diverter to turn the shower on. Made for a VERY unpleasant shower. This new faucet/diverter is silent. It's been great!

Absolute garbage. A diverter spout should effectively divert the water. This one does not. In the first few days it kinda worked and I put up with the slightly decreased shower pressure. After a week, it was no longer diverting the water and I had zero shower pressure. It looks like the real deal and was easy to install, but who freaking cares about that if you can’t use your shower?! You’ve been warned.

Had to get a replacement for a manufacturing error on the first order. Replacement unit worked fine. It uses a pressure fitting for the 5/8" pipe and you just lock it down with the Allen key set screw wrench that is included.

The product itself works just great and is MOSTLY an easy install. Just remove the old spout, make sure you have 1.5 inches of pipe available, and slide the new one on. (Preferably after cleaning the pipe with steel wool and maybe adding some silicone grease, but hey...)The trouble comes with securing the spout with the screw and Allen key. The screw is recessed inside, its facing down, and it is almost impossible to fit the Allen key in by feel. And since it is so close to the wall, you will need to fit it in by feel, turn it, remove it and repeat a few dozen times. Your fingers will remind you that there are muscles in there that you probably don't use that much...Would have been much easier if it had been a simple Phillips head screw.
