Godox products has an on-going issue with Canon R series of camera (R5/R6, etc) when HSS and E-TTL are enabled. I purchased the newest mode X3-C, as some online forum mentioned that this is fixed. But I have tested and confirmed this is still *not* fixed, hence the 1 star. You can easily verify the issue still exist: 1) set the camera to manual mode, set shutter speed to the sync-speed (1/250 for R6), and set the aperture/ISO to any value giving a correct exposure. 2) turn on HSS on the godox flash and set it to E-TTL mode. 3) wirelessly trigger the godox flash and take a photo. Note because the shutter speed is not higher than the sync-speed, HSS, although enabled, is not actually triggered. Verify you will get a good flash exposure 4) now set the shutter speed to a higher value than sync-speed (1/320 for example), this will trigger HSS. 5) take another photo, and you will notice you will get an extremely overexposed image because HSS+E-TTL still doesn't work with this newly released trigger (tested with R6+X3-C+AD200Pro and Godox V1).

I ended up returning this one and getting the larger pro model. The larger model has buttons for key features so that you don't have to work multiple levels of menus to get to them, like modeling light, High speed sync and more groups and info are default on single screen. The pro model also has the long press TCM feature that allows you to take TTL picture and then shift to manual while preserving the power level of the TTL You then quickly have a way to dial in your manual settings without a light meter. The X2 does not have this key feature which makes setting up flash for ambient light mixture way harder

I liked the x3 trigger so much that I ordered versions for my Sony, Nikon & Canon mirrorless cameras, to use alongside the Godox v1 Pro S Speedlite. They connect well and work seamlessly together, no matter which camera I'm using.I was a bit wary of the screen and relying on it to change settings. However, there is no lag swiping though the menus which are intuitive to navigate. I just wish they came set to English & not Chinese as standard, but changing language is an easy affair. The OLED screen is lovely and clear, even in bright lighting. The trigger is powered by internal battery that's charged by USB-C and it's way smaller than my Neewer triggers. These are great, effective and reliable triggers that work well with the Godox strobes. Highly recommended.

What a difference in size compared to the X2 Pro and event he X2T. The user interface is intuitive and works just like a smart phone (swiping and tapping), is about the size of an Apple Watch, has dials and buttons on the side (also like an Apple Watch), but as you can see is about a 1/3, or maybe even a 1/4 of the size of the other remote triggers. The battery life has been tremendous, and I just put it on a charger every few sessions to make sure I have a full charge. Plus, with no external batteries to replace, there's no more battery covers to fall off or replace because they are broken (like my X2 Pro). It's also so much easier to see than the older screens on the other triggers. The scan function works great to make sure I get the best channel for my lights. I also really like that the hot-shoe connector is now just a push in and button push to take it off, and I've had now issues with the Canon EOS R and EOS R6 with making contact or staying on the hot-shoe.Finally, with the size of the trigger, I can also wear a ball cap without the bill knocking into it. If you look at the third photo, sometimes I will use a top handle to switch from photo to video and this allows me to keep the handle attached.

Llevo poco tiempo con él pero me ha parecido muy sencillo de usar, pequeño y estéticamente parece diseñado especialmente para las Canon R. Me gusta mucho.

This is a great flash trigger from a company that professional photographers trust. It's tiny compared to my Pocket Wizards and the touchscreen display is great - providing me with all the information I want to see. It's been reliable and so easy to use with Godox's flashes.
