Finally had occasion to use the flange! Nothing says, "I love you," like switching out the upstairs chair-height toilet for the downstairs comfort-height toilet for your petite wife. Every time I take a seat on the "throne," I feel so warm and fuzzy knowing that hubby went to all that trouble for me. That's where this flange comes in. Apparently we needed a new one to accomplish the task, so it was handy this was nearby. I guess hubby needed to drill a few new holes in it in order for it to fit our 1965 "toilet hole" (?), but since he was able to do that, it worked just fine. That being said, build quality was okay, ease of installation probably sucked in advance of hubby drilling those extra holes, but in the end, it all worked out fine and kept us from having to visit the local "blue" or "orange" stores.

Provide better support for toilet than flange alone.

At half the price of brands like Sioux Chief, this is excellent value. I ordered this one and another one from Sioux Chief and ultimately chose to use this one and return the other to save a little money. No complaints. Does its job. Seems sturdy enough. Durability will be a test of time, but I’m optimistic.

I was sold on this product do to the description but then I must have missed something because I really did not need it. My floor is level. But, hey I was sold on the well written ad as I often am. Just made no sense once I received it. I did not need it but was enamored over how well it was made. Very high quality. Precision engineering. Just wish I could have needed it. But alas I returned it to Amazon in its original packaging and bought something else- a pair of jeans. Now those I can use.

great idea to fix a common problem. the ,metal is not quite big enough or strong enough for what i needed, but I layered them, I bought two sets. and it worked good! Sure beats tearing up the floor to fix the issue.

We moved into our new home and one of the toilets was unbalanced. We removed it to find the hole for the plumbing was much too large so we used this. It worked great.
