If you're looking to reduce the number of cables you're dealing with in the Pi 5... this is it, yo. Of course, it's not the same as having the Pi 5 PoE hat, but like... if you don't want that but still do want PoE, this is a great alternative if you have HATs that require that no other HATs like the PoE one be installed in place for one reason or another. This thing outputs stable and clean power and has been running my Pi 5 4GB for the past few months without issue with the NVMe HAT installed on the Pi 5.

This POE to USB C splitter is working perfectly for my Raspberry Pi outside. This is for a project using the Pi with a camera outside near the woods to watch for motion (animals) and notify us. Nothing too taxing, so I don't think I have come close to the 4 amp limit yet. I like that it has LED lights for the Ethernet port.I am giving this 4 stars because it meets expectations based on the description.

I am using this with a Raspberry Pi 5 with a light duty load. It's worked reliably with no issues. However, I just use it for a security camera and so it's never under any kind of heavy load so I can't speak on heavy load situations. It has been great for my security camera setup.

This PoE splitter is great, I was able to power my octoPi setup on my 3D printer with ease. From my PoE switch I able to run one cable to the Pi and it gave the Pi Ethernet and power without having to buy a PoE Pi hat. In theory you could use this to charge a phone or anything else that uses 5V DC usb-c power. My Pi doesn't push the 4A limit but I never saw any issues with the power that it did pull. It's well made and does what I expect it to.

Been testing this with my raspberry pi 5 and it pushes around 2.8-3.0A with the usb ports operating in limited mode. Putting a slight load up to 3.0a does cause some instability so it's definitely not a 4A power supply. I can only recommend this if you're looking for a solution to power a raspberry pi where an outlet isn't nearby and you aren't putting a large load on it.

I got this for my raspberry pi. This adapter has been working very well and provides great power and network connection. I like how slim and compact it is. It's also great because this adapter has status lights on the Ethernet port which helps me know that it is on and working.
