If you are a Pi/Arduino project board fan, THIS is a requirement to have one or more of these. Paired with a POE switch you have one cable to each of your devices for LAN and power.Of course this review goes without saying if you are already in IT as you should have a few of these already. But if you don't, there's time, get a few!!Easy install, run your CAT from your POE switch to your workspace, plug it into this, plug this into your device.Remember it has to be a low voltage device, it won't power your laptop or docking station. 5V vs 19+VHave fun and organize those cables!

I use they all over my house when I have a device that needs power and a network connection. It allows me to eliminate the power brick for the device and just power it from my POE network switch.Sometime I don't have a power outlet near the device I need to power, and since my switches are on a UPS, all the POE devices stay on-line during power outages.
