Really wasn't impressed with this. I was drilling it in and it didn't really seem to be going any deeper. So I backed it out looked at the tip and the screw was on it... Alright, that was easy. Great tool. Not sure about the durability, but unless you've been cursed, this is only gonna get brought out after big oopsies.

Trying to remove an old boiler from an espresso machine, was hoping these bits would help but not the case. If you drill long enough the screws might break away, but you don’t need $10 worth of drill bits for thatI guess maybe my drills weren’t up to the task, but I tried several

The description says left hand however we received right hand bits 🙄 frustrating because we needed them asap to get a vehicle up and running faster.

Got a broken screw, this will extract it. LH bits that work best in soft fasteners. Don't heat up, don't use on grade 8 or hardened fasteners.

i was surprised by these cheap drill extractor set. i had 2 broken bolts in my oil pan in my van . i didnt have much hope since they where both right above the cross member. i specifically picked this kit because i needed them to to be smaller the 1/4 and this kit had 2 sizes below that. i orginally was going to start with the smallest bit but had issues center punching the bolt because they sheard at a angle so i went right to the 1/4 drill bit the plan was to basically use the 1/4 to level off what was left of the bolt so i could center punch them. well when i used the 1/4 the drill skiped and i thought great i just broke the bit but nope it had broke the bolt loose . did the other same thing. i used a pick to walk the bolts out since they where loose now and i now have both bolts out. i never even needed to use the extractor just 5 seconds drilling in reverse on each bolt and then playing with it with a pick . pretty impressed
