Replaced old Pearl seat that was a third of the price .Well you get what you pay for.Can’t fault it and so comfortable- can play for hours without any stress or strain.

once this throne is adjusted and locked up it is extremely solid. so solid I had to get used to it lol. zero wobble on the base or the seat. 6’2” I have it adjusted up to 25 inches. cushion is phenomenal. buy with confidence

I absolutely live this drum throne! It is very solid and stable, and the 5" cushioned round seat is perfect! Gibraltar hit it out of the park.

Très satisfait de ce nouveau banc Gibraltar Sofly drum throne ! Je possédais avant un autre Gibraltar soit le modèle 9608 MB siège de type Moto, j’en étais très insatisfait, toujours eu l’impression de me faire pousser par l’avant, pas d’équilibre pour les « ankle motion », ce nouveau banc Gibraltar Softly Drum Throne est vraiment très bien. Si j’avais l’impression d’être en équilibre sur un fil mince avec le modèle 9608 MB, avec ce nouveau Gibraltar Softly Drum Throne j’ai l’impression d’être assis sur une large poutre d’acier… bien rembourrée ! 🥳

I am a keyboard player. I've used drum thrones forever. I needed to replace my Pearl throne, as it finally wore out. I tried probably a dozen or so thrones, with & without back rests, from moderately priced to top of the line. We typically play 90 min sets & I have to sit more now because of back issues. I could not find one that would work for me - not even a new Pearl. I settled on this Gibralter "softy" drum throne. I read many reviews about it & know Gibralter has a very good reputation. This drum throne is made very well & has a 5in thick cushion seat! But unfortunately, after about 20 mins, my bum, back & legs start hurting/burning. For players that don't have back issues, or don't have to sit & play for extended periods, it def would be worth a try. And unfortunately for me, it's just past the return time window, so I'll have to try & sell it & continue the hunt for a seat that provides long term comfort.

This throne is very comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. I had a bicycle seat throne for years and loved it, but wanted to try a round seat again. I find it easier to sit squarely and balanced on this round throne compared to the bicycle style seat. The construction is very sturdy and relatively heavy, as you can expect from most Gibraltar hardware. If you are looking for a lightweight throne this may be too heavy for you. Also, I am a large man at 6’3” and 270lbs so there was some worry about its ability to support me properly. I have been using it for a couple months and have had no issues with the hardware faltering or seat part bending or breaking around where it attaches to the bracket. Overall very well designed and comfortable product, I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a new throne with extra cushion, who doesn’t want to pay a premium for thrones from brands like Tama, Roc n’ Soc, DW, etc., for the same high quality this product offers.

Damn good throne. The only thing I had to assemble was attaching the seat to the base. Easily adjustable and feels great, I don’t feel like I’m sitting on my spine like some other thrones I’ve used. The base is strong too, I was thinking it’ll be thin and brittle but it’s beefy and the floor pads on it are bigger than I’ve seen before. Very happy I got this bad boy! You doo need a drum key for it though, so if you don’t have one, I would suggest getting one. The seat is a lot more firm than I expected but it’s still a good feel and I’m not complaining at all. Just trying to help out with this review
