I have a 9' hammock. It fits in this frame perfectly without the extension chains. I drag it around my backyard to wherever the shade is. It's fine stability-wise. It's not a swing so sit/lay in it like a normal person and you'll be fine.

Arrived quickly, well packaged. Easily assembled by one little old lady. Most pieces snap into place, no tools needed. Crossbars needed a screwdriver. Sturdy enough to hold family members over 200 pounds. It is heavy and will certainly not blow around in the wind. As you can see in the photo, my hammock was much too long for this frame, but I knotted the ends and used the second loop option to attach, and I am able to swing on it about 4 inches off the ground. This is actually OK so I can easily roll out onto the ground to get up. hahaha I am very pleased with this purchase.

I am so disappointed with this hammock stand. It's uneven, unstable, and feels like the whole frame is torqued to one side. It's barely long enough to accommodate my 9ft hammock, and even then it sags almost to the ground before I even get into it. Worse, the whole frame tends to flip entirely over if I put weight in the wrong place. I tied a cinder block to one end to help mitigate that, but the fact that it even came to that is infuriating.Do yourself a favor. Buy a different stand.

I've had this outside and hammocked up for about 30 minutes so far and I like it. It was way easier to assemble than I anticipated, just slide the tubes together until those silver push in buttons snap into place through the holes.The only issues are that the bottom rails aren't always in full contact with the ground and the instructions/parts labeling need some work. It seems like the bottom ground-contacting rails should have a bar which holds them together, otherwise one corner tends to lift up and the whole thing seems lopsided until you kind of rotate it into position.The parts are labeled on the instructions but not on the parts themselves, so why bother assigning a letter to each? I'm still not sure I set it up 100% right but so far it's comfy. I say go for it as it's a great value still.

Sturdy frame. Easy to put together. Easy to drag around yard when I am cutting the lawn.My hammock was too long for the frame but I found a way to wrap and hook the ends so it fits well and is safe to use.

First of all it didn’t come with the bolts , that would’ve been helpful, but I did call cost way to let them know , I had to purchase my own bolts . My 6 ft hammock with spreader does not fit very well in it , it is very sturdy though . Very easy to assemble if I had all the hardware needed .

I have had an 8 ft Hammock for years that I've never used and was determined this year to get it up. This frame is perfect for it!! Honestly I am not sure how it would with a longer hammock because this fits ours perfectly. It was a bit confusing to put together because the instructions were a bit confusing and I am not sure about taking it apart and reassembling it over and over, just because of the time it took to get it together but if it didn't have to go all the way flat I would give it a shot. I am a large size person and it is perfect for me. Highly recommend it for the cost!

Bought 2 hammock frames to use with my cloth hammocks when I go camping. I weigh 440lbs and have had trouble finding a stand that will work and not bend. We took them camping for a week and the stand did not bend or crack, only bad thing was I lost one of the S hooks so I had to buy another. Assembly is easy and fast, as is disassembly. Very portable, very reliable!
