The zinc-coated legs of the stand prevent rust and plastic caps are used on the ends of the steel tubing to create a soft finish. This means you can move your stand across your patio or deck without scratching the deck or stand. You will enjoy the freedom the stand provides by allowing you to set up your hammock wherever you desire, and the premium carry bag included means you can now take your stand on the go.

Excellent product for smaller hammocks. If you have a good quality true queen hammock these are a tad short in length. they work, but the hammock material ends up right up in the stirrup which means you cannot use the cords to stretch out your hammock width properly.A simple fox to this would be if the company made the horizontal floor tube adjustable .But this is still a great stand !

Hubby over 250 lbs and no issues. Put together in a few minutes. Nice feature to be able to dismantle and take with you or for storage. Canvas storage bag seems to be of good quality.

I bought my hammock in Colombia Sth America and I thought I'd have a difficult time finding a stand to fit. This stand has many settings for the length of your hammock. I also like that I can easily disassemble it to bring my hammock anywhere. I'm very pleased with this stand.

The stand is fairly easy to assemble, sturdy and would be quite portable, although ours is just being used in one place. I did find it took some elbow grease to get the stem ends to slide fully into the tube ends of the base, but nothing serious. Since the hooks are adjustable for different positions on the stem, the stand can accommodate different sizes of hammocks which is a nice feature. We have found that what is described as a 9 foot hammock can vary widely depending on how stretchy the hammock material is so some adjustment is a very good thing.

I've been a hammock guy for nearly 40 years... I've got fancy Hennessy Hammocks, cheap Guatemalan hammocks... you name it... but I've rarely used a stand because they were too bulky, heavy and hard to put up and store... This does the trick with nearly every kind of hammock I have... it comes in a nice little case, is heavy duty enough for a big 280 pounder like me and can be put together or taken down in a couple of minutes if you need to move it or store it. It "may" not work as well with a hammock with spreader bars at each end, but any other kind of hammock works great...And here is the important part.... it is fully adjustable! Your extra long Guatemalan Hammock will work on it and so will your shorter canvas hammock... the way it works is that you simply move the hooks up or down on the posts... that's it... simple, easy, quick...I HIGHLY recommend it for small patios or balconies where you can't hang a hammock from a couple of trees but you also don't want a monster hammock stand taking up room all of the time. And is is great to throw in the car for camping or just enjoying it a the park... small, compact and easy to set up... what more could you ask for?It may sounds cheesy to say this, but this will be the last hammock stand you will ever need to buy!

Best money I have spent in a while. I have had a mayan hammock under the bed for years with no place to hang it. I finally got this hammock stand, and cannot believe it took me so long. The stand was super easy to put together by hand out in the yard in under 10 minutes. There are adjustable holes down the side so you can stretch your hammock out. I thought I would have to be on the 1st or 2nd hole, but mine fit in the fourth hole and kept the hammock off the ground.I now use my hammock daily! The hammock stand is light enough to move around with just one person to put it on the porch out of the rain or to put it out in the yard. I even had a close friend buy this exact same stand after seeing a photo on Facebook. She loves hers as well! If you have a hammock laying around and nothing to tie it to, you cannot go wrong with this stand.

The last tropical storms to roll through Florida damaged the trees in my backyard, forcing me to have them removed. One thing that my family has missed is our hammock, which had be strung up between our trees, providing us with a shaded, cool place to relax. We no longer have the trees, and our hammock has been stored in the garage gathering dust. I purchased the Vivere hammock stand as a way to get back to those times. I was looking for a hammock stand that could be constructed when needed and taken down if we needed more space on our back patio. Based on the past reviews for this product on this site, I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. The hammock stand arrived per the shipping delivery schedule, right on time. Initial construction was a snap, extremely straightforward and easy. I would say it took me about 15 minutes to put the stand together the first time. The Vivere hammock stand is made of sturdy material and felt `solid' when put together, this was important to me as I did not want that feeling of a rickety, poorly constructed stand when swinging in the hammock. Unfortunately for me, my old rope two-person hammock didn't fit that well into the stand. It was serviceable, but dragged almost to the floor. I did end up purchasing a single cotton hammock that works perfectly. With the weight limit on the Vivere hammock stand being at 250 lbs, it would be hard for both my wife and it to share the hammock anyway. The ease of constructing the stand and the included bag makes it a great addition for our trips to the beach. We store the hammock in the Vivere hammock bag and take everything with us in the car, where we ( well, mostly my wife ) can be found swinging in the hammock under the coconut trees by the beach shore.Overall, an excellent purchase that I would recommend to others

Some years ago I purchased a string type, no stretcher, "Mayan" hammock and mounted it on a common hammock stand, a big green thing with pipe sections that slid into one another. Any time I moved the stand the tubes would shift and fall out. The stand was left behind in my last move. This Vivere stand was purchased as a replacement. The box arrived in perfect condition. All the parts were present, there was even an extra knurled screw connector. No tools are needed for assembly. Once assembled, the stand can be moved without any fear of it falling apart. I keep the stand assembled in the garage and shift it easily into and around the yard.My Mayan hammock fit perfectly, once the hooks were positioned correctly on the supporting tubes. The U shaped guides prevent excessive swinging. The compact size of the stand means it will fit where the older stand would not.Although I haven't used it yet, the included carrying bag means the stand and hammock are easily transportable for camping or even just a BBQ at the park. The size might even make it practical to take the hammock to open air, "bring your blanket and lawn chair" concerts. My only warning is be alert not to cross thread the knurled screw connectors. The stand is exactly the right one for me, it fits my hammock and my yard perfectly.
