When I received the package and opened it, it seemed like it would make a solid chair stand. Unfortunately, the top parts are so out of alignment (either due to the slant near the top where the two pieces fit together, or to the bottom legs being out of alignment) that the top is NOT near the center of the chair. If you move too far back, you'd fall over. I packed everything back up and will be returning it.Other notes:- The instructions are a single page with no numbered steps (image attached). There is a little guide to how each piece connects but no other advice like furniture items normally come with. I managed to figure it out, but had to keep moving pieces around.- These were also inaccurate to what some of the pieces were. other people mentioned this, but the carabiner does not fit through the top hole, and it does not have a screw piece on it to actually be secure (image attached).- I threaded ribbon through the top and hung something heavy on the bottom to see how out of alignment it is.- One of the rods had like, metal sand in the bubble wrap it came in. Remnants from the cutting process, most likely. I had to vacuum three times until I found out where it was coming from so my cat wouldn't eat it and possibly get sick.

Great value, easy to construct. Thick sturdy build. A bit cumbersome to move around. Great height to hold a variety of hanging chairs. Solid enough to securely hold a large frame thick guy like myself.

First, the assembly. In theory, this is easy to put together. It was going up in no time until I got to the top two pieces and I couldn't get them to align to put the bolt through. They were not even at the right angle. What ended up working was taking them out, loosing the knobs on the supports, putting the bolt in the top but not tightening, then wiggling the top pieces into the supports. I could not get the carabiner that comes with it through the holes. It would not open wide enough for the thickness of the metal. I had a bigger on that came with my chair that worked. Once I hung my favorite hammock chair, I was so disappointed that even hanging it from the highest point, it was way too low. Sitting in it my but it the stand. I had another chair I had never used (blue one pictured) and this one hung at a good height. The stand is nice looking and the pieces seem sturdy. I am hoping it holds up over time.UPDATE: I was able to twist the hanger part of my other hammock until it was almost parallel to the bar. That reduced how far it hangs down so now it is at a good height! Added additional pictures.

Not the most intuitive instructions, took a bit to put together. Cupholder arrived broken and unusable. Poor packaging. Sturdy stand overall.

I purchased this stand to go with a swing chair for my eleven year old daughter to replace a larger stand that she already had that was too large in her room. This stand was much quicker and simpler to assemble. It also takes up less floor space than the previous one. I like that the legs do not stick out so far and that there is still plenty of room to swing.
