Runs small. Bought an XS 1 1/2 years ago and it fit my dog perfectly. Re ordered same one different color and does not fit well at all. Thus 3 stars. The coat itself is the best I've found so far. A little pricey but worth it if it fits!

Bought for my russell/rat terrier mix. Didn't notice it was for a Dashund so it is quite big. Looks like he has a dress on when wearing it but it is very warm so we continue to use it. I did move the belly band that wraps to keep it on so it was at a better place for his size. Well made, very, warm, covers the dog well, easy on, off.

This sweater is so cute and fits my puppy so well! I have a 4 month old dachshund x wire hair fox terrier mix (Starbit), she’s about 9lbs and I bought her the XS. It fits her perfectly with just a bit of room to grow!! we live in CA, close to the ocean, so it can be cold at night. this sweater is great because her harness fits under it with no problem, and it keeps her warm at night, and she seems to like how it covers her ears! it’s soft and comfortable to her and since we usually use it at night, and it has the reflection, we can see her well! Good buy, and might buy another.

This coat is soft and very warm. My dachshund is 9.5 pounds and is wearing a XS. I love the long collar that you can fold down. It is super easy to put on - you slide on over the head and has a sewn in velcro belt. The grey piping is reflective and makes it easy to see your pup in the dark. The only negative is the sizing chart - it only goes by length, no girth measurement. By the size chart I first ordered a S. It was too large in the girth area so I gifted this coat to a larger dachshund and ordered my girl the XS; however, I highly recommend this coat for your dachshund or other long back dog.

I like the coats, but I wish there were more colors. Also, I use a harness on my dogs and it has two metal loops to hook up with the leash. The hole on top of the coat is too small and hard to get the metal hooks through. Great reflection. I use a head lamp when I walk at night and the coats light up.

It’s super warm thick, soft fleece and it’s easy to put on and take off. Once you undo the very strong Velcro belt, all you have to do is grab the turtleneck part and pull. The coat comes right off- something our young impatient pooch appreciates! I think they keep our little dogs warmer than any coat we’ve tried and we had many kinds! Plus they look super cute in them. Also, you can unfold the turtleneck to become an ear warming hoodie that will keep your pooch’s ears warm and keep rain or snow off his face. I don’t believe it’s waterproof but it’s so thick that it protects for a short walk- and it dries out fast! Worked both for our dachshund mix and our chi weenie with a very large weenie, both not easy to fit! Good value for the quality. We sized down to XS for both our pups- foxy mix is 10 lbs and chiweenie is 7 lbs.

Maisie, my Havanese, is long and slender, and impossible to find a jacket for her that's long enough and easy to wrap snuggly around her. One of her neighborhood Dachshund dog friends wears this brand, and I asked the dog parents where they found a jacket long enough and warm enough. They shared this Amazon site, and I took a chance to get one...hoping it would work.It fits great, and is made very well. Material is a warm and soft material edged with a reflective hem. It's exactly what I was looking for, but would never have looked under a Dachshund titled jacket. It fits her very well. I also like that it goes over her head and fits snuggly around her neck, with just 1 large velcro strap under her belly. It's easy to put on / take off, and keeps my doggie warm with minimal hassle. The pink color is really pretty for a girl dog. I've tried lots of different brands, but this is by far the best winter dog jacket I've found. Highly recommend.

Best Doxie coat we have have so far!I purchased this for Pluto's birthday back in September and he finally wore it for our morning walk today. It kept him so warm he wanted to sniff and walk through the grass and stop multiple times.We walk to the bus stop every AM then take a trail back home and he has pretty much wanted to go and get back home ASAP with how cold it has been. But today he wanted to sniff around and walk very leisurely. He was nice and warm under when we took the coat off too.It stays in place nicely, is fair in size to leave space for another sweater under if needed and has a nice spot up top for his harness to fit through for the leash to connect. The collar would cover his ears in super high winds.The belly strap, if pulled tight enough does stick up kind of silly (not shown) but for trail walking we don't need a fashion award.The bottom is cut out nice so he won't get pee on it when he goes and it is long enough to completely cover his rear.I have only washed it once when we first got it, but it did wash and dry well. It is easy to put on and take off. So easy to slip on and off, and very quick to do so. Warm and keeps his legs and belly warm too just by the nature of the piece. Get compliments on it constantly. Keeps his ears and whole body warm. Wonderful piece.

Ich habe diesen Mantel in 2021 gekauft für nicht mal 25 Euro. Er ist auch echt nicht schlecht, wenn auch am Hals viel zu eng für meinen Dackel. Ich wollte ihn nun nochmals kaufen. Aber jetzt für stolze 62,15 Euro? Echt jetzt? Das ist wirklich eine unangemessene Preissteigerung und das ist er nicht wert. Für einen maßangefertigten Mantel von unserem Schneider, der dann auch perfekt passt und komplett aus meinem Stoff ist, den ich mir wünsche, zahle ich mit Material und Arbeitszeit nur 55-60 Euro. Dann mache ich lieber dieses. So toll ist er dann auch nicht gewesen. Schade.

This coat was amazing. We got it for our grand pup right before a cold snap here in western Canada (-40 with wind chills) and this coat was perfect. Easy to put on as you slip over their head and velcor around body so it cinches nice and tight to their size. We got the small which was the smallest size and our grand dachshund is 9.5lbs and 9 months old. It is long but not too long. Fit it perfect!! I would 100% recommend this. Took a few weeks to arrive but not too bad.
