Not a skimpy thin coat. It’s plush, warm, water resistant, and it actually covers the underside of the animal without getting in the way. The zipper is also strong, and it’s easy to get the dog into. It’s worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed. Size chart is accurate.

This a very nice dog coat for the money. It keeps my short haired dog nice and toasty on the coldest of days. Its very easy to put on him ad well. I just make him walk over it and sit down. From there I buckle the back which helps with zipping it up. My dog is hard to find anything to fit him just right. This coat fit him like it was made for him. I plan on getting more. It comes in many different colors. I bought this last year and so far this seems to be holding up very well. Its very functional for him to walk and even run in without any constrictions. And its not heavy on him either.

This coat has a very soft and warm fleecy inside. The built-in harness is great and the top zipper makes it easy to put on and off the and reflective neck strip is a great safety feature. The elastic sides make it a perfect fit. The two toned jacket gives it a designer look.

Der Mantel passt einwandfrei und macht qualitativ einen guten Eindruck. Allerdings wäre es sinnvoller gewesen, den schwarzen Bereich mit dem silbernen zu tauschen. Bei kleineren Hunden ist der Abstand Bauch - Untergrund nicht sehr groß und verschmutzt dehalb optisch viel schneller. Die Wasserdichtigkeit kann ich nicht beurteilen, da wir noch keinem Dauerregen ausgesetzt waren.

This is the best dog coat ever! My dog had a coat that had Velcro straps on his neck and chest. Sometimes, when he went through deep snow, the straps would come undone. I got him a coat with snaps to replace it. It stayed closed, but it was sort of awkward to get to the snaps down his chest. This coat has a zipper down the back, and let me tell you, it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread! It’s so quick and easy to get on! No more struggling to get his second arm through the the arm hole. I just lay the coat down on the floor and he steps into the arm holes. I lift the coat up and around him and zip it up. There are built in harness loops for you to hook a leash onto. I don’t know how strong they are, because I haven’t used them for that purpose. I use the latch that brings the “harness” together to hold the coat in place when I pull the coat up and around my dog’s body. Then, my hands are free to easily zip him up. The coat is nice and thick and warm. It is a soft fleece material on the inside, and a water repellent fabric on the outside. It comes up around my dog’s neck like a turtleneck, and goes all the way to his tail. His entire chest is covered unlike some coats, but it doesn’t go so far that it gets in the way of my boy getting things done (if you know what I mean). We’ve had some very cold and snowy weather, and this coat has kept my dog warm and dry. When he comes inside on really cold days, the outside of the coat will feel cold to the touch, but inside it’s toasty warm. It’s amazing! I love this coat, and my dog seems to like wearing it, too. It fits him well. It has elastic gathers across the chest, so it is flexible enough for him to run around and play comfortably. There is a reflective stripe around the neck for safety. As for the built in harness, I cannot honestly say how secure it is. I just use it when I get my dog into the coat. We have invisible fencing, so he’s just running around on his own without a leash. The loops for the harness are just sewn onto the coat, so if you have a strong puller, this might not work for your dog. I did order this coat and a similar one from another company at the same time. The prices were similar. The other coat had an actual harness attached that went all the way around the coat. I kept this coat because it was thicker, soft on the inside, and was flexible enough that my dog could do more than just walk stiff legged while wearing it. It’s the perfect coat for my dog. I would also like to add that there were lots of sizes to choose from when I ordered it. I find that a lot of places tend to cater to small dogs, and that their XL doesn’t fit a large dog. My 57 lb dog was too big for a lot of other sellers. The sizing chart was easy to use, and I got it right on the first try. I just can’t say enough about how happy I am that I ordered this coat! Oh…my boy looks great in it, too!

Our small dog weighs 18 pounds. We just experienced a polar vortex. This was an accurate fit per sizing chart. Nugget loves it! It's super quality, soft and plush on inside against his fur, waterproof outside, reflectors, and easy to put on him. Zips on top. He loves it. Enough room to place it over his indoor fleece sweater too. definitely recommend!!!

Größentabelle entspricht dem Produkt; sehr schnelle Lieferung. Unser Hund lässt sich den Mantel problemlos anziehen und bewegt sich darin ganz natürlich. Der Mantel ist gut verarbeitet - der Praxis (Wärme-und Nässe…)-Test steht bei aktuell 22 Grad noch aus…

Eigentlich ist das ein schöner Mantel, der unserem Dackelmischling auch gut passt. Leider hält der Reißverschluss oben im Anschlag nicht. Wir sind uns daher noch nicht sicher, ob wir den Mantel behalten.

I don't know why this jacket is marked at having a high return frequency, as most of the reviews are high. It is warm and water resistant, and an excellent jacket for snowy conditions. With 2 front leg holes, the chest is kept warm, unlike some jackets where the chest is exposed. And for my male dog, the cut out on the bottom of the jacket is far enough forward so that he doesn't pee on it. It is more of a challenge to put this jacket on (from the bottom up) compared to one that goes over the back and closes on the bottom, but I taught my 3 dogs to "get dressed" - at first they thought the jackets were toys to be wrestled with, but I made them calm down and guided one front paw into a leg hole while giving the command "get dressed". Then I did the same thing with the other paw. It took my year-old Boston Terrier just 2 days to figure it out. My older Lab figured it out quickly too - it took a couple of weeks with our year-old French Bulldog, but we didn't get her as a small puppy and she had some settling in issues she was dealing with. They all stand still and put their paws through the leg holes on their own now. As soon as they get one paw in a hole, I pull that side of the jacket up and hold the clasp; after they get the other paw in, I pull that side of the jacket up by the clasp and connect the clasp together. After that, zipping is simple. As others have noted, there is an adjustment cord for the neck. The jacket appears to be well made - the zipper and clasp are both very sturdy, and the clasp is strong enough to hold an attached leash, making the jacket very secure. Our French Bulldog pulls very hard while running on the leash and it stays securely in place, and she cannot back herself out of the jacket. Sizing: I got a Medium for my Boston Terrier which fits him snuggly - if your BT or other similar-sized dog is stocky, you'd want a Large (as an aside, there is quite a bit of difference between the Medium and the Large - almost like a size and a half difference). I got a Large for the French Bulldog, which is a perfect fit. I got a 2XL for my Lab - probably could have gone with 3XL, but she doesn't wear the jacket as much as the smaller dogs do. All 3 dogs act like the jackets are comfortable - they don't try to get out of them, and they play freely while wearing them.
