I ordered this coat for my dog for Christmas. he needed a warm coat that was more than just a couple straps holding it on. this coat is amazing. I got him the medium size as per the size chart. it fits him perfectly and is so warm for him. we can take him to our area warehouse store for socializing with people which he loves to do. this coat makes him able to socialize in the colder weather without shaking with cold. awesome coat! I can't recommend it enough. I got him the red coat as he's a white dog. he gets a lot of comments on how nice his coat is. I will be recommending this brand to my friends who have small dogs. and their larger coats to the friends who have big dogs as well.

Perfect for my 52 pound Labradoodle that has a 30 inch chest, 17 inch neck, 23 inch back. I love the blue with the black stripe. Cozy fleece on the inside and a protective layer on the outside. I like that it’s not gonna make her too hot. we don’t go outside for more than 20 minutes. The outer layer is not waterproof, but we got it for snow so it’s fine. I don’t need the little D ring straps so I am going to either sew them back or cut them off so that I don’t have to move them out of the way when I’m zippering. Absolutely love this coat for her.

I have a 13lb Shih Tzu who is between a medium and large. I purchased the large and it fits perfectly. Happy to find a coat with a zipper instead of velcro which my dog does not like. The coat is easy to put on and the zipper works well. The coat seems warm especially with the fur on the inside. The two rings work great to attach to the leash and much easier than putting on a harness under the coat.

Our male shitzu loves this vest. It keeps him warm while outside playing or going out to potty. He doesn’t want to take it off. Very durable, easy to put on, covers his entire back and half of his belly, and very soft. You definitely get the value for the money you spend.

My 13 lb male bichon pees into the coat when wearing it so it is of no value to us. It needs elastic so there is not a major belly gap. I imagine if your dog is female, this coat would work fine. It was affordable, soft, easy to get on. The zipper works well. I loved it right until my dog ended up in a soggy jacket. Washes fine. Is not water resistant so it soaks up rain, snow. Size was correct per chart. I do suggest measuring your dog to get a good fit.

I have a 9 pound long skinny bichon. It’s really hard to find things to fit him. The medium size fit perfect! It was long enough and not to big every where else. I love the built in harness so easy to use and very sturdy so I don’t have to worry about the rings coming loose. The inside of the coat is really warm so grateful to know he will be warm this winter. Love the color and the outside of the cost is awesome, well made. Thank you Amazon once again I didn’t have to go to 50 stores to find exactly what I wanted. Great driver! It was snowing and even though the coat was in a plastic bag he put it inbetween the screen door and front door so it didn’t get wet. I really appreciate that!

SIZEThe jacket runs large, which is a good thing as too many dog clothing items run small. It can be harder to find affordable clothing for medium dogs and larger.The XXXL in red was too large for my dog's 32.5 inch chest. It could zip up and stay on, but it was very loose, like an oversized sweatshirt. There is some stretch to the bottom section.Without stretching, and no additional measuring, it would easily fit a dog with a 38 inch chest. Depending on how much it can stretch, it could maybe fit a smaller Great Dane's chest. Unsure if the Great Dane's legs would fit in the holes.DESIGNAs the jacket zips along the dog's back, a dog could easily step into the leg holes with the jacket flat on the ground, making it a better choice for dogs with balance or mobility issues. No need to lift up their legs.QUALITYIt seems like a decent quality jacket. If your dog sometimes pulls at the leash, I recommend reinforcing the D-rings because I'm not sure how much they will hold up. The idea is great.
