Our pitbull mix is ultralean- all bone and muscle and a big big baby when it comes to being cold. Hey, he doesn't have any body fat. He loves this knit coat. It's got a bit of fit and structure to it. We live in FL but if it's a cool day or we're out on the water in the wind or rain he loves wearing this. It's not waterproof but has some resistance to moisture and will still hold his body heat. It's easy to put on and take off. If your dog is a little heavier I think this has some stretch to it thst woild accomodate them to a degree. I'm really happy with the quality of this and would definitely recommend this coat.

We have now purchased three of these! We have a short hair border collie that gets cold in the winter time. She loves these. They are nice and soft on her and stay on without any issues. They fit perfectly true to size.

Runs small and is for short body dogs. Only covers to just beyond my 10lb chihuahua’s waist.

This sweater is very durable but it is cut small so get your size bigger than normal great material and nice fit for my dog im loving it.

My Jack Russel Terrier loves this jacket and SO DO I. The fit is right on to their size chart. Take the time to measure your dog according to instructions in listing because all brand sizes are NOT created equal! Gabrielle weighs 20 pounds and he wears an XL in this jacket, measure chest, etc. This jacketis just the right weight for. Florida winter weather. The jacket has the feel of your best sweat shirt and it won't pill like those knitted sweaters and is washable. I hang to dry to protect from melting the zipper and to keep the size true. The zipper up the back makes it SO EASY to get it on him, he just steps his front legs into the armholes. I put a clothespin into the 2 D-rings on the back to hold it up around him while I zip it up, EASY PEASY! Every time I put it on him it makes him feel like he is being HUGGED! He even loves wearing it in the house at nap time. I will most likely buy another one as a backup while this one is being washed. A TRUE WINNER HERE! Kim

This sweater-coat was exactly what I was looking for: it offers good warmth at 30-40 degrees F, fits great and has a very sturdy zipper and D-rings for leash walking my dog. Plus, it's really, really cute...!As others have noted, my dog seems very comfortable wearing it, no tightness at neck and a perfect fit. I bought a M (medium) and she is 13.5 lbs with an 18 inch chest - as there is fairly good stretch to go around her. I have no issues putting this on her at all. I am now planning to buy a second one in another color -and overall, highly recommend.

This sweater would be perfect if the zipper didn't get stuck every single time I put it on my dog. The sweater is deceivingly warm and great on windy days. I love that it covers a bit of my dog's front legs and it fits him perfectly, which is extremely hard to find for a dog that is short, overweight and barrel chested. I wanted something with a zipper so I wouldn't have to manipulate my dog's arthritic legs as much when getting him dressed and this is honestly perfect, the zipper just needs to be better quality. The zipper guard however is a win. The zipper gets caught on itself but it has not once gotten caught in my dog's fur. I bought an XXXL and it fit my 75lb pit bull perfectly.

My pup is between two sizes and its difficult to get him something that fits properly. We got him the small as they said if in-between sizes go up and I am glad I did because I believe the XS would be too small , however it is slightly loose on him, will be good for backyard play and short walks but if he really pumped the breaks I am worried he'd be able to do the great escape.

I really like the design and quality of workmanship in this jacket. It is very easy to use and put on. Seems very warm and pretty too. Love the rings by the zipper to attach the leash to instead of fishing for the dog collar underneath. Appears to be well made. I was thinking of spraying it with waterproof spray so it would soak in the rain. We really haven’t used it in a downpour yet tho. The size fit snuggly and I don’t remember if they offered measurements or I didn’t use them. I would order a size or two up next time. Also my dog is a Dachshund mixed breed so she is long in body. This jacket actually was one of the longest ones I found and almost covers her whole back. I would definitely recommend it and buy another one.

My Frenchie is 17 lbs., and it fit her very nicely. It's thick enough to keep her warm, but not too thick that I have to take it off every time we come indoors.
