Did not work right out of the box, would not go over 122 F. Don't buy a cheap China made thermo gun, must go with a name brand.

Item arrived within stated timescale, did not work!,, had to go and purchase replacement batteries at cost o £6.00!,, now works but at 50% increase in price.

Handy little device, fits in your pocket, unlike some of the others, which I'm sure if you stood at the side of the road most people would think you had a speed gun.I use mine amongst other things to check the gas levels in our gas bottles, it's surprising the difference in readings above and below the gas level.

Awesome item. Easy to use, easy to read. Fast. Accurate. My husband uses it all the time. So far I know the temperature of the baby's bathwater, our dog, our oven (allowed me to prove to him that yes, our oven is burning everything, not me!), and the water coming out of my tea kettle. I'm sure he'll find other things to use it for too...

This works but is not at all accurate. Boiling water register around 186-190 for example. It is good for finding cold air leaks around doors and windows though and after 10 or so tries actually gave my accurate temperature. The cat loves chasing the laser light around but a cheap laser pointer works better for that.

Very useful for the everyday engine guy/girl, but also good for home issues! Price is well worth its multi-purpose uses.Be careful to not drop it on hard surfaces as this would be my only negative point of this product.

This works just as described. It is great for checking HVAC output temps, tracking air leaks around doors/windows and checking the temperature of just about anything you don't want to touch or can't touch. It has a laser to help you point, but the temperature is read by an infrared sensor. It will read a small area from about 20 feet.
