Price was good and the quality was as good as you would get anywhere else. Been in use for about 4 years and no issues.

This is probably the only American made generator plug on Amazon, I did have some trouble figuring out the wiring as the directions did not match the plug. The directions said that the neutral terminal would be marked with white paint and or would be nickel color. The W terminal is the neutral if anyone else runs into this, it may sound self-explanatory, but the terminals are XY & W so I did not want to take a chance. Again, this is a high-quality Leviton plug way better than anything else on this platform.

This box does exactly what it is supposed to do. My only complaint about this box is the cover for the outlet, there should have been a built in locking mechanism for the cover when plugging in your plug. Outside of that, nothing wrong with it.

Good overall. Punching out the knockouts was tedious to ensure you only remove the ring you want. A sharp knife and patience. Also there was no PVC bushings to give appropriate bonding surface. Make sure to have a bushing or you'll be cutting a union up and making a ring. I ran 8 ga and it was tight but doable. You can't use 3/4" PVC on the hinge side of the bottom inlet, no room.

Needed to upgrade connection box on house I just bought. This was the best price with all the features needed to get the job done right. Now if power goes out I know I can easily connect generator and have all the power I need. Easy to install, everything designed straight forward and plug is under box so snow and rain are not a problem when it comes time to connect.

Really easy to install. The only complaint I have is the knockouts in the back; I only needed a 1/2 knockout and it broke off too easily to the 3/4 knockout, so I used a reducing washer. Other than that it was perfect.

Perhaps I should wait until I need to really use it in an emergency, but so far all the testing I have done with my generator and breaker interlock shows that this inlet box worked as it is supposed to to connect the generator to my breaker interlock. After getting many estimates from contractors with high material costs, I saved a lot by buying this and other parts on my own and paying for installation. The contractor was happy with it and installed it quickly. It got installed upside down, for further protection against rain and snow, so it is kind of a pain getting the power cable hooked in, but that is not any type of defect with the box itself.
