Este detector de radiación nuclear cumple con lo que promete, al menos en un uso básico. Afortunadamente, no he tenido oportunidad de probarlo en un entorno con radiación nuclear real (¡y espero que siga así!), pero en general parece un dispositivo robusto y funcional.El diseño es compacto y sólido, con una pantalla LCD grande y clara que muestra los datos de forma sencilla. Además, cuenta con alarmas en tiempo real mediante sonido, vibración y un indicador visual que resulta muy útil. La batería recargable es otro punto a favor, ya que permite usarlo sin depender de pilas.No soy un experto en el tema, pero la configuración y el manejo son bastante intuitivos, lo que lo hace ideal para usuarios principiantes o no especializados. Es una tranquilidad tenerlo a mano por si alguna vez es necesario comprobar algo relacionado con la radiación y encenderlo de vez en cuando sencillamente por curiosidad...En resumen, un buen producto que transmite confianza, aunque mi experiencia se limita a pruebas generales. Para quienes buscan un detector accesible y fácil de usar, es una opción recomendable.

Aus irgendeinem Grund wollte ich schon immer einen Geigerzähler haben. Diese Messgeräte sind, genau wie die Radioaktivität irgendwie faszinierend, auch wenn die tägliche praktische Verwendbarkeit irgendwie nicht gegeben ist. Dieser Geigerzähler macht einen rundum wertigen und robusten Eindruck. Das Gehäuse ist bietet eine gute Federung wenn er mal etwas unsanft fällt. Das Display ist klar, hell und gut ablesbar, die Bedienung einfach und intuitiv. Praktisch ist der eingebaute Akku, der sehr schnell über den USB-C Anschluss geladen werden kann.Zum eigentlichen Zweck konnte ich leider keinen positiv Test durchführen, da ich kein strahlendes Material zur Hand habe. Im ganzen Haus und Garten hat er keine nennenswerte Strahlung angezeigt (zum Glück). Die Strahlung schwankte zwar leicht aber weder Displays noch leuchtendes Phosphor Spielzeug haben zu einen bemerkbaren höheren Ausschlag geführt. Gut ist das er auch jedes detektierte Teilchen kurz durch ein Symbol anzeigt. Schade ist, dass er nicht den typischen Geigerzähler-Sound macht, also dieses knacken bei jeder Detektion. Der Lautsprecher ist nur für den Alarm da, wobei für mich nicht ersichtlich war was der Grenzwert ist wann der Alarm auslöst. Auch schade ist das man das Display nicht umschalten kann auch Zählung der Anzahl der Detektionen, also die Gesamtzahl vs. Zahl/Zeiteinheit.Auch eine zusätzliche Bargraph Anzeige wäre schön gewesen.Fazit: ein gelungenes, wertiges Produkt mit etwas Verbesserungspotential, daher ein Stern Abzug von mir.

Il prodotto arriva in una scatola di cartone, a sua volta contenente una confezione a forma di guscio con cerniera, molto ben rifinita e che è in grado di trattenere bene il misuratore.A corredo c'è un cavo USB-c molto corto ma adatto per ricaricare il misuratore (la presa è su un fianco, ricoperta da una porta in gomma, non impermeabile ma sufficiente per proteggere da polvere o corpi estranei).La lettura è molto veloce, e sembra essere anche piuttosto sensibile (non ho prodotti radioattivi per testarla, ma si è assestata su una radiazione di fondo e ha fornito oscillazioni fra le diverse parti di casa). Fatto test su banane, e si scosta davvero di poco dalla lettura di fondo.Molto utile, a corredo un piccolo foglio di istruzioni, che oltre alle funzionalità base (accensione-spegnimento) dichiara i limiti per esposizione giornaliera ed oraria in Sievert, sia per lavoratori professionisti del settore nucleare, che per altre persone, e quindi dà un'idea dei livelli di pericolosità (fortunatamente molto distanti dalle letture!)Non sono sicuro che metterei la mia vita in questo strumento, ma sicuramente ha una sua utilità per rilevare eventuali eventi. Alla mano dà una sensazione di solido e ben costruito, anche se è complessivamente molto leggero, fatto che mi fa pensare questo strumento possa essere poco adatto ad un uso professionale.

This is a nice looking monitor and is fairly accurate for the price point. It's been cool to play around with and to use to find uranium glass at the flea market.

I tried this for testing vintage uranium glass. It doesn’t seem sensitive enough for that purpose. When testing vaseline glass, it barely registered more than the baseline background radiation that was already ambient in the room with me.

I'm glad to have this Geiger counter. It charges easily on a standard USB-C connection. It's solidly made and the grip has a nice feel. The display is clear and easy to read and it comes with a nice case.

Mine needed charging on arrival. I looked on the charger for about 2 hours and it was fully charged. It does come with a charger, but it is a very common USB to USB C, which is the same charger that my Android phone uses. It has a silicone cover over the charger so the charging port is more water resistant. It's got a very nice display that is very easy to read. It reads quickly and wellIt comes with a nice clamshell type molded foam case.The only downside of this monitor to me is that there's no way to really wear it. You can't put it on a necklace, but you could perhaps buy a separate holster for it. It does have an alarm if you do choose to wear it in a holster. It is a good design for a monitor if you want to mount it on a dashboard, for instance.

Ever since I watched a 90s movie featuring a Geiger counter, I wished I had one. So when one was available, I grabbed it. It's a basic device with a rough-looking casing that feels solid in your hand. The little booklet that comes with it tells you the safe and unsafe ranges for each type of radiation wave: x, gamma, and beta. It comes with a charging cable so you don't have to worry about changing batteries. Operation is simple. You turn the device on, and it starts measuring the radiation in your surrounding environment. It comes in handy when checking rocks that I sometimes collect or when going to new places.
