Initially I thought this was broken, but it turns out that the radium clocks I was testing it with were just not radium or barely reading. I got a new clock today and it read up to 3.08 sv/h. So, yeah, this thing works fairly well I'd say. I can't attest to it's accuracy, but it does what it needs to do for me. The beeping is annoying but it can be disabled. Overall, not bad.

Had one. Cheaply built. The plastic is low quality. The front plate is felt not solid. The reading is not accurate. Hard to use.

sensitive detecion result when I came into radiation therapy room at hospital, it responds in a few seconds. Battery life could be lasting for over 12 hours in detection status that is enough for me.

Husband wanted a Geiger counter, but this one does not have any clicking sounds to let you know something's been detected. Instead, it sounds an alarm after a certain threshold is reached. The display allows you to select different operations to measure radiation, which is nice to have, and Husband reports the device has a good battery life.

This is a conveniently sized and sturdy Geiger Counter, good for rapid short-term feedback.It only displays 4 minutes of reading on the graph, and there seems to be no way of changing that scale. This makes it no use for longer term checking - can't even leave it in the basement overnight to get a 24-hour long readout of radiation to see how Radon levels fluctuate with time.I'll throw it in my bag and use it for filed testing, but it isn't much use for anything else.
