These are original filters, I bought one and it worked just as advertised and water tasted good, no issues with ice making and lasted 6 months before refrigerator asked for a replacement. And I like to keep using the original to keep everything working as it should and filtering the water as best as possible.When I bought my second one it did not work and did not want to connect due to the RFID chip it has, I have seen that some of these filters have bad chips in them even from GE so be aware of that thankfully Amazon does 30 day returns and I will return my second one and buy another one.

We were not aware that we would need to replace our new refrigerator filter so quickly. Luckily, Amazon carries our filter and it was so easy to order the new one. And the price was competitive with other retailers. It was easy to change the filter. Filter arrived on time. Will definitely purchase for future filter replacements.
