I love that it's big enough to fry fish, chicken, french fries, plantains and breaded steak. I haven't used it yet because I just received it today. However, I am certain that it will be put in good use.

Used on home gas stove ,sturdy,took awhile to get hot evenly but once hot it was great . Great size especially if cooking for large group.easy to use easy to clean . Great value for money and arrived on time.

For the price and intended use this is a great buy. It’s a little light weight, but for occasional backyard fish fries without smelling up the house or making a huge mess, no complaints. Easy cleanup, as easy as any fryer is going to be. Great size for families or small groups. You can fill it higher if you need to really pile in the food, or put in just enough oil for a single layer.I’m using it with a Block burner and it heats up in no time. The hook to hang the basket on the side for adding food and then letting the oil drain when done is very convenient.

This set arrived yesterday, and I put it to the test last night, frying chicken tenders and onion rings. Worked great, and no food stuck to the inner basket, which I love. My old electric fryer had wire mesh baskets, and breading would always stick to the wire. I was able to get all the food to "shake off" and come out without using tongs or banging the basket, which was great. I fried over a propane burner for about 40 minutes and there was no discoloration on the bottom or inside of the pot. Big win. Very happy with this set!
