Either the product description is wrong or Amazon sent me the wrong product. The description: "YOUHO Garden Hose Adapter 3/4" Drip Irrigation Tubing to Faucet - Reusable Connector Fittings for Most Rain Bird, Orbit, Dig, Toro 3/4 Tubing x 3/4" GHT."However the barb measures ~0.63" which is 5/8" not 3/4". This will not fit 3/4" irrigation tubing.

Does not fit 1/2" RainBird distribution tubing. This adaptor is too small.

Sold as 'compatible with 1/2" rain bird tubing' is a bit generous. It fits rather loosely (the connector falls out if you hold it upside down), but with several layers of plumber tape and the clamp, I got it installed leak free. This is not ideal though since the 1/2" Rainbird tubing (or any 1/2" irrigation tubing) is designed to make a leak-free fit through stretching, not through clamping.I'm not sure why this product is made of two parts, it's not like the connected hose can swivel once you tighten everything down. Product came with a white plastic ring and a rubber ring. You cannot fit both so you have to pick one.. I picked the rubber ring. But no idea why there's two options there.Still giving this 3 stars because the plastic Rainbird brand connector I bought did not fit the Rainbird watering timer at all (too small), at least this product works with some plumber tape.

Couple of days ago I wrote a less than favorable review. Purchases what was supposed to be 1/2" tubing but in reality found it was 5/8. Not being too bright, never checked to see if it was 1/2. When told the 1/2" barb was for an old garden hose size - that didn't sound right - and the saga continued.This product, if given the correct tube size functions very well. Sometimes it doesn't pay to believe the experts!

It was leaking when I first installed. Thought it was quality issue. Finally I fixed it by putting white silicone tape before connecting the tube. So it is my installation issue. 😄
