I recently decided to add an air switch to my kitchen sink setup, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the simplicity and functionality it offers. The sensitivity is spot-on, activating the garbage disposal without hesitation each time I press it. The fact that the button doesn't stick out like a sore thumb on my sink is a big plus – it blends in well with my stainless-steel countertop and doesn't show signs of fading or discoloration. I chose the long button based on the recommendation, and it was the right call for my granite countertops. Installation was straightforward with no tools required, which is a relief because I'm not exactly a DIY guru. The compatibility with different garbage disposals was also a relief, making this a versatile choice. While I had to put in a bit of elbow grease to drill a hole since my sink didn't have a spare, the effort was worth it for the sleek and professional look it provides. All in all, I'm quite happy with this addition to my kitchen.

Air switches are a must have for safety when using disposals imo. I was disappointed with this particular one as I needed brushed brass but apparently French gold means chrome. I’ll use it for now in my new basement bar until I can find a brushed gold option to coordinate with my Cambria quartz countertops in Portrush (white with navy vein and gold flecks).

Compared with delta champagne bronze, this air switch is too yellow and shiny. On the right in the photo, Not a match. Will return.I don’t know if it was a manufacturing error, but the delta air switch in the middle does not match either. The closest match is on the left, sinkingdom. I will be installing it. Much more affordable than the delta too.
