I am not handy and was able to install this so far its been working really well and i haven't had any issues. I did have one at all before so thisbis a greatbaddition to thenkitchen.

I’m looking for a small garage disposal to replace the broken one in my condo. This one fits perfectly. It looks solid and well designed. Pretty easy to install. I’m not a handy person but I was able to mount it up by myself without any complications. And it works! Powerful enough to handle all of my kitchen garbage. No need to worry about kitchen cleanup anymore. Highly recommended

Installed this to replace a Wasteking 1hp unit that was broken by lightning. rip. So far this has been working great, it's reasonably quiet, but clearly less powerful than the 1hp it replaced.. I don't really have a way to test if it's truly 1/2hp, but it has worked fine for egg shells, food waste, etc.. so far.The one major complaint I have is during installation if you have a dishwasher that needs to feed into this, you are supposed to knock out this plastic bit, and there's really just no good way to do it.. they don't provide any tool for this, it's not easy at all to break out, and when it finally did, it wasn't exactly a clean break. I was concerned i was going to break something else with the amount of force required. I used a large wooden dowl and a hammer and it felt way more difficult that it needs to be.. I feel like a simple plug that was held in place by a screw on cap to seal it would've been simple to create to avoid this portion of the install entirely and would've really improved the experience.After you get that done though, the rest of the install is reasonably straight forward. I also like that the drain cover they include has a longer piece to help shove food into the disposal, but i imagine it's not good to run it while it's inserted, just in case.

Highly recommend this garbage disposal! Took me less than 20 minutes to have it installed. It runs quiet and smoothly and the style also is very modern and sleek.

I replaced an old disposal in one of my rentals because the tenant said it was too noisy. This one fit right into the old bracket and plugged in and worked flawlessly. It was a little quieter than the old one because it has a thicker case (maybe more insulation) around the motor. The tenant is happy so I am happy.

This is a good garbage disposal. Installation is straightforward, but you need to have a place for the air switch to go. Just check for size etc before purchase. I am giving it 4 stars for ease of installation, performance, and price ($89 day of review).
