Never have i had to work so hard to install anything in my life. Even after lubing up the rubber seal, getting anything more than a 1/4" at a time to feed down the rail was next to impossible. Rubber is to hard to have any sort of crush/ cushion to it, so it holds back little to no water. giving 3 stars because it doesn't look bad as a finished product, but does not work as a water block. If the rubber did not have the inner stiffener, it may work better...Word to the wise, if you have minimal space between the garage door rail and the wall, this will drive you to drinking, or becoming a scientologist or jehova witness. Don't play games with your sanity... it's not worth it

Fit perfect, definitely a 2 person job when installing the rubber seal . my old seal allowed water to seep underneath it ,, removing the old seal, use the right tool, the screws I had to remove had square head, luckily I had a bit that fit my impact. after removing I used the pre drilled holes in the aluminum channel provided and screwed them to the bottom panel, only installing 4 of the 5 channels, then started the rubber seal and pulled and squeezed until the opposite end cleared where the 5th channel would mount( You’ll need 2 people for this ) I then installed the 5th channel and pulled the gasket back until if fit the width of my door, I ended up cutting about 2” excess off the with a carpenters knife,, very easy and it is a very easy fix for older garage doors, I will purchase again , 5 stars

I installed this seal on two 8 foot garage doors in approximately 30 minutes total. I would recommend a squirt bottle with a water and Dawn dish soap solution and squirt the channels prior to installation. It helps the seal slide in much easier!

Took under an hour to remove the old track, get the new track installed including cutting the last track piece, and sliding in the seal. I cut the seal into two pieces to ease the installation process (align the cut with the expansion joint in the concrete) to reduce the length of pull.I applied a squirt of wd40 in both rails and went together great.

The seal is great plenty of material to cover a not perfectly flat surface. Zero light comes through where the seal meets the concrete. I bought self-tapping screws didn't use the ones that came with the kit. East enough to cut the tracks to fit the ends and didn't have to drill any holes. My only complaint is there is no self alignment on the track pieces so if you don't have them perfectly aligned it's hard to pull the seal through them. Overall took about 30 minutes to install and is working very well.
