This is a nice looking, decent quality step stool. I have a few different stools in places around the house so I don’t have to drag one everywhere all the time.This one is good, but I would question the 500 lb rating. The plastic steps flex a little when I use it, and I’m a 180 lb man. For most uses for average sized people, this thing will be great. But if rigidity under heavy stress is your main focus, there are better options out there.

When buying a step ladder sturdy is what you need. This is sturdy and light enough for me to carry and easy to open. I am happy with this purchase.
