I bought this so that I could do quick cuts wherever I needed to. However, this has become one of my favorite go-to tools now. Now, despite some issues, I am still giving this 5 stars because I have put this tool to the test and, boy howdy, was it up for the challenge! It is hardy and tough, however it will start to become very hot after prolong use. And, by prolong use, I am talking about an hour of non-stop cutting. If you are using it off and on, then no worries. The overall vibration level is minimal, in my opinion. The handle is comfortable and easy to grip. Also, it isn't too thick for my small hands BUT not so thin that I feel like I could snap it over my knee. It does have a safety that, once held to start the saw, you can let go of. Lastly, the dust collector worked for a little while, though it wasn't super effective. However, the cheap, plastic hose got bent and that was that. Honestly, you could craft or buy a new and better one or just not worry about it. I will say that you will want to occasionally suck the sawdust out. I mean, it is still a circular saw, so expect dust. All in all, if you are in the market for a inexpensive, but awesome mini circular saw, grab this. It is pretty awesome!P.S. It does have an accurate laser guide. Just know that it is battery powered and doesn't share power with the saw. Probably for the best, really. Oh, and the guide is nice, straight, and works well. And, it stays put so no slipping.

I'm used to using my skill worm drive saw (left over from when I worked rough framing)for all of my work but getting older 77 and the heavy saw is harder to handle with one hand so when I had to do some overhead cuts I thought o had better get s lighter saw. This did the trick easy to handle and follow line in awkward position.Highly recommend if you have done cuts to make where you are extended beyond a comfortable reach. With that said I hardly give 5 stars but I had to cut some lap joints and this saw had the power to do the job effortlessly.Going to be my go to saw. I don't expect 50 yesrs of service like I got with my work drive but like I said 77 so it doesn't have to last to long for it to last a lifetime.Highly recommend to put in your tool box. It might just save a finger when you have an awkward cut and your big saw is hard to handle.

I have been through 3 of these 3!!! The first one , just stopped spinning , it would spin but without any umph .. So i replaced it with the exact same model the 2nd one , the tiny screw that holds the circular blade on snapped off and rendered it useless. the 3rd same problem as the 1st it just gave up. This is the most worthless cheap Chinese junk that has ever graced Amazon. How anyone could say this product is decent is beyond my scope of comprehension. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere , find something different ,this is not worth your time , effort or your money Most horrible worthless trash I have ever purchased 3 times now.

Tiene un excelente acabado, sin rebabas, bien pintado etc. Lo utilizaré básicamente para trabajos caseros pero pinta con la suficiente potencia. MAX 3500 RPM así que sólo servirá para madera y plásticos

Since before I bought it, I saw a few review said the saw blade does not have right angle with its shoe base. If this is true, it will be big problem. So I paid special attention for this. And here is what I found why some ones have this problem. There are two locks for adjustment, one is for tilt angle and the other is for cutting depth. Here is the key. If you happen to have loosen both locks, then tighten the cutting depth lock first and then tighten tilt angle lock, the blade will never get to final right angle because the depth lock prevents blade from going into the final right angle position. Just a little bit, but it is tilt. That is how people complained it. If you lock the tilt lock first before locking the cutting depth lock, the blade will be in perfect right angle.Just my important discovery for those who bought and are going to buy.The saw is very easy to use. The small design neck is very friendly for the small hand people. The weight balance is good when you holding it feeling stable. The only thing is it is bigger or longer and heavier than I thought. I tried to find a compact saw smaller and lighter than my circular saw, but it does not actually in both size and weight. But looking at other compact saws in the market, they all have similar weight and size so probably it is the design limitation of compact saw. I was expecting it like the size of my grinder because using grinder to cut wood is not that safe. Although it is not compact at all, it is still very easy to use so I will keep it after thinking and trying it a few days.

I'm a retired General Building Contractor. I have more power tools than some women have shoes. I've wore out, broke or gave away more tools than most people have owned. So, I have a fair knowledge of the practical function of the tools I've used. This little circular saw appeared to be something that could be easily handled, work in more confined areas and suited for smaller material work. It came close to those expectations.Firstly, a tool can perform only as good as the quality and sharpness of its cutting components. This saw came with two carbide tip blades. 24 and 40 tooth. A nice offering, but the cutting ability of these blades leave a lot to be desired. They cut through wood like they are dull or already worn out. I will try a more quality blade. This biggest issue is handling this saw. I have big hands, and still find it awkward and cumbersome. In order to hold in the safety button and pull the trigger, puts your hand in an out twisted position, that would make any continued use very demanding. Not to mention the ability to safely and accurately maneuver a cut.The motor sounds like cheap meat grinder, or a wound up six cylinder motor, running on four. Not deafening, but I doubt the transfer gears will last as long as the memories.Overall it is an inexpensive, small saw that will operate within the scope of its description. The table, fence and adjustment features are tight, with fairly aligned accuracy.I'll keep it. I've seen worse, but I'll always be looking for something more efficient.
