Most of theses little saws are running 4/41/2 amps. This one is running at 6.2 amps. It seems it cuts with a little less drag and for that less binding kick backs. I have an older one and this new one. Use sharp diamond blades for best results . My first one taught me to be very careful saw table bends easy causing cuts to not be square all the time. Other than that the saws work very well and keep a steady line cut. S.M.

Made quick work of a lot of boards I was cutting in thirds to remove from a deck, even cut through the larger support frame without any problem. I have only used the wood blade, I can't give an opinion on the others.

Easy to use and assemble. I’m a woman with smaller hands so couldn’t quite grip both the control buttons with one hand, so needed someone to help with larger pieces. If the hand grip was a little smaller it would be better for me. But overall a great little electric saw at a good price.

I had ordered this saw to help my son, do some work in his kitchen, that required a small saw. When I received it, I noticed that the screw that holds the saw blade in place was missing. I contacted the seller, but got no response. After looking at directions on the Amazon site, it said to return the item, for a refund. All I needed was a screw, turns out it was a reverse thread screw, and not easy to come by, so I sent the new saw that they sent to me, removed the screw, and sent the new saw back to them. I didn't take it out of its packaging. Seems like an expensive way to just get a small part needed, but I guess that those are the rules. Saw works great, by the way.

The motor is strong enough, the cutting disc is sharp. The problem with these small circular saws is that the cut mark is located on the frame far from the disc, so even if you have a line on the workpiece, the end of the cut goes blind. Another unresolved issue is the locking button for starting the machine. It is placed so impractically that one wonders if it was tested and approved by an alien. Overall: a non-greasy-unsalted saw, as there are many. Reasonable price speaks in favor.

This is small ,yet powerful handheld saw. Good for small renovation projects. This is a winner for the price. Comes with 3 blades. Used it for decking tiles. Works perfectly.

Wow, this is a very right handed tool. Can't use it at all because I'm left handed. Can't give it a bad rating, the device is good, just not desinged for left handed people in any way at all.

Great little saw. It is very easy to use. I don't ask my husband anymore when I need to cut something. I love this! It does work! It's not heavy and setup was quick. Great for small projects. This saw is a must have for anyone looking for an easy to use chainsaw.

Maybe if you're a big guy with strong arms and a lot greater familiarity with power saws, and/or you have a solid work bench and a bunch of clamps, and you're not trying to use a tiny saw because you're working in a site where bringing in the table saw is beyond just inconvenient ... maybe you'd like this saw. If you're a fairly small, not-too-muscular person trying to get a job done without bringing in the heavy artillery, this is probably not the tool you want. There isn't a variable speed control, the blade is either on (in which case it's moving so fast that it's invisible, like a propeller blade) or off. Since you can't see the blade when it's in motion, even if you don't mind curling over like a caterpillar and trying to look under the body of the saw to see where the blade lines up with your marking, that's impossible. And the gauge on the front end that is supposedly for the purpose of lining it up seems to vary in its alignment with every cut. The saw wants to pull to the left and make an arc, rather than a straight line. It takes some strong force to coax it not to do that, and it's a constant and (for me) often losing battle. The tiniest movement or loss of pressure forcing the saw in the intended direction allows it to kick loose and go off in another direction, very rapidly. It's a powerful little saw -- cuts through particle board like soft butter. But if it's that easy to cut particle board and that easy to have it jump, it's not for use by anyone who can't keep it in line. Not if they like having all ten digits and no deep cuts in their legs, other nearby objects, etc.So ... I'll be sending this one back.
