I bought two of these for our 2023 4Runners. 'When' these controllers work, they make the 4Runners feel 1,000lbs lighter, we love the response of the throttle. However, every so often, they throw check engine lights (CELs) and the dashboards light up like a Christmas tree. I have to clear the codes with a scanner and change the controller setting up or down a bit. My wife told me to just remove it from her 4Runner completely which is too bad because she really like it, when it wasn't throwing CELs.

I can tell the difference in power. It’s like having a turbo charged 5.0 l in my f150. Price is good too.

This is the second throttle controller like this that I have purchased. I had purchased the previous one for a previous vehicle and left it installed when I traded it in. I probably could have removed it and installed in the new pickup, but no matter. The new pickup is more sensitive to throttle controllers than the previous pickup so I have it set at a lower level setting than the old one. Works exactly as it should and I wouldn't hesitate recommending the product to others.

This is the cheapest way to get your sluggish truck to come alive!! I have a 2011 F150 5.0. It always felt like it weighed 50,000 pounds. You had to put your foot so far down before it would do anything. Totally new truck now. It down shifts sooner, throttle response is quicker. I have set on stage 1-5 and it’s everything I wanted!! Don’t think about it anymore, JUST BUY IT!! You will be happy!!

Easy install on a 2021 Ford Ranger XL. I tried the different modes. P3-6 is Racing mode and they say to be careful with it. I wouldn't run it higher than -6. The truck really lurches forward with a light tap on the gas pedal in P3 mode. Even on P1-6 it is highly responsive. I'm hoping ECO mode does what it is supposed to do, give better gas mileage.

This will not increase horsepower or torque! However, throttle lag will pretty much disappear. This will make your car soooo much more fun to drive.Installation takes 1 to 2 minutes.I don't know about fuel economy, I'm still having too much fun with the other modes (P1,P2,P3). 😂

I was kinda sceptical when ordering this for my 2015 Ford Edge SEL 3.5 AWD. Installed in about 30 minutes. What a huge difference in throttle response! OMG! The sport and race modes... Very happy with this purchase! Very!

This little programmer does exactly what it says it does, no throttle delay any more.I found one setting that feels like you have a throttle cable attached.The other settings are fun but not very practical for me, but definitely liven up the throttle response.One thing you should do is read the instructions you must let the controller know you have an automatic or manual shift transmission, maybe that is why somepeople end up with a check engine light on.You will also need to get one with the right plug for you year make and model.
