I don’t know what I was expecting from this product when I ordered it, but am extremely glad I did. Makes an incredible difference in the throttle and driving it. I choose this paired with the boostmax over a “tuner” with a generic map based of my mods for the instant ability to turn it on or off. Very pleased with the product.

So this worked exactly as I expected, so I guess I should give it 5 stars? However, I think some people are getting a little carried away with what this can and cannot do.The factory setting for the pedal sensitivity is quite weak, so you can move the pedal a decent distance and not get a large throttle response. This makes for nice smooth easy driving and better gas mileage as you are not making quick throttle adjustments unless you are stomping on the pedal. However, if you do find yourself stomping on the pedal quite a bit, then having to move the pedal relatively large distances gets to be a pain. Especially if you are trying to keep your RPM up to avoid turbo lag, you keep having to make relatively large adjustments as you change gear etc... This is where the PedalMAX might help you out. What it will not do:People (even JMS) also saying it removes turbo lag. Really? I don't think so. I think what is happening is folks are driving at generally higher RPM, which you could do by either hitting the throttle more or by using the shifters and keeping the RPM up. Both of those can get annoying and the PedalMAX make this easier.Turbos need exhaust - no exhaust, no turbo. No throttle response change is going to change that. But, if this product helps you to drive the way you would like to, then I'm all for that. I have it, I like it, but just know it is not going to get your turbo to spool up faster and it is not going to add horsepower or make your vehicle 'quicker'. It might help you drive it more quickly, but that's another matter.

O...M...Flipping LORD what a difference. It's like a whole different car!!Acceleration (and shifting for some strange reason) is PHENOMENAL! No lag whatsoever! It comes with a dial controller for those [faint at heart] wanting to tone it down, I am running without it at 100%. Only a ST or RS would accelerate faster but not necessarily smoother. Factory traction control is ineffective, acceleration in instantaneous. It will put you square back into the seat. If you stab the throttle at speed, hang on!For under $250.00 ( and the 30 seconds or so seconds to install), I do not believe you can get a better bang for the buck. MPG is slightly down (only because I am addicted to dropping the hammer!).On cruise control, it’s amazing as well.. I HIGHLY recommend this as a 1st mod for anything utilizing a "drive-by-wire" system. I will try to update once I get a proper tune on it. I'm not looking for adding HP, just getting every drop of what's available, blueprinting if you will

This product works. After installation I set it about 75%. That was way to much. Makes the throttle too sensitive and car launches with little pressure applied to the throttle. Kept turning it down till the car accelerated the way I wanted. About 25%. Stacked with boostmax it really brought the car to life and eliminated turbo lag. Even the girlfriend prefers it over stock. Mount the dial within reach and in no time you will find your sweet spot. 2016 fusion titanium 2.0 EcoBoost. Hardest part of install was running power wire through firewall. Which can be optional if you find a good source. I went to battery with both.

I installed the Pedalmax in my 2016 Lincoln Navigator in literally 5 minutes. Zero issues and worked as soon as I reconnected the battery and started it up. No check engine light as some have reported and cruise control is fully functional. Does exactly what it says it does..........makes throttle response virtually instantaneous with no lag. What I really like is that it's still easy to modulate the pedal and tip-in is very linear so it's still easy to drive smoothly. it DOES NOT turn the throttle into an on/off switch. You just have a lot more juice a lot sooner in the pedal travel. Because it opens the throttle plate further with less pedal input, transmission kickdowns happen much faster without any delay. It was slow to kick down before, especially between 35 and 50 mph. I really don't want to install a tune in this car and this gave me a noticeable difference in performance without modifying the vehicle or its computer. This was hugely important to me as my Lincoln warranty is fully intact and I intend to keep it that way. I am going to add the Boostmax next to eliminate the turbo lag and gain more power and top end response. I'm completely satisfied with this product. I will update this review if I encounter any issues over time.12/10/2019 UPDATEIt worked flawlessly for a week and I was really happy with its performance as I wrote above. Then after about 10 days of being installed I started my Navigator one morning like normal and it went straight to 4,000 RPM and would not come down. Tapping the accelerator didn't solve the issue. Fortunately I installed the optional power knob with my kit so I was able to turn the knob to the off position and normal cold idle was restored. I turned it back on and it went right back over 3,000 RPM as I rotated the dial, so I immediately turned it off again. I called JMS about the issue and they recommended that I disconnect the battery, unplug everything and plug it all back together again to reset the computer and the throttle position sensor. I did as recommended and after reconnecting the battery I started the engine again and it seemed to idle fine for about 20 seconds then started revving again all on it's own. I turned it off again and thought maybe the adjustment knob is faulty, so I disconnected the battery, unplugged the adjustment knob from the JMS harness, reconnected the battery and started the car again. Same thing, idled normally for about 10 seconds then revved right up to 4,000 RPM again. While I understand this is supposed to open the throttle plate more at any given input to increase throttle response, it IS NOT supposed too rev the vehicle on its own with zero throttle input from me. Obviously there is an equipment problem here as it worked flawlessly for about 10 days before it began to malfunction. I don't know what the issue is. JMS couldn't provide any details, insight or solutions, so at this point it's coming back out of my Navigator and going back to Amazon for a refund. I don't need to have a huge vehicle like a Navigator accelerating on it's own in traffic. This could not only be dangerous, but a potential catastrophe if it takes off and I can't stop it. Thankfully it did it at idle before I ever put it into gear and I was able to disable it because I installed the adjustment knob. Could have been a very different situation if I couldn't turn it off and it happened in traffic.
